" I found out in March 2014 that a permit (required by the city) was NOT obtained. My cabinets had already been replaced and I found out nothing had been inspected by the City. My cabinets had to be removed and King Electric was notified. Small job becomes huge job to me . When he returned to my house, he was mad and angry. Upon further inspection, my electrical system had to be upgraded from the outside meter to the box inside the house. I was told it would be "thousands" and I wouldnt be able to afford it. Due to King Electric performing the initial rewire, the City wanted him to do the upgrade.(just in keeping a complicated situation less complicated due to other contractors involved) Every time we spoke, he was rude and angry. BUT HE did NOT get required permit !! ;I had purchased lights to go in my kitchen. He told me they would not fit in my kitchen with my ceilings(needed to be 8 foot or taller) I never had purchased lighting, so I felt he did not want to hang the lights, or any lights. He was so angry that he was being forced to upgrade ( but at $4000) , he was getting paid for all work. I certainly NEVER would have allowed someone to be on my property who was so rude and mean to me, but I had no choice. He was right in that the lights were too large for my kitchen, but he hung them ALL (3) anyway!! They hit me at about shoulder height. It was totally unprofessional to proceed to hang these knowing they would have to be rehung. And they then threw all the boxes in the dumpster. TOTAL unprofessional! HE DID NOT GET REQUIRED PERMIT, but was mad at me!! I then had to repay him am additional $300 to come take down the wrong lights and rehang new ones. Very uncomfortable experience and would never recommend this company .

He is very good. His name is Gary King. He has 5 or 10 employees. It is a fairly good sized operation. He is difficult to get in touch with and he never answers his phone. He always has to call back. He does super quick work and does a good job. I would use him again if I needed to.
Description of Work: I am using King Electric for electrical work.
