Description of Work: Very friendly and informative before the sale. Men hired to install the floor messed up the flooring in two places and if not for the person we had remodeling our house we would have been up the creek. We had to complain to get the job finished. Then the molding that was put up is not the color of the flooring. I am very very disappointed that there is absolutely no SERVICE after the sale. After a $9000 sale, I would expect them to make sure that the job is up to their standards and the customer is satisfied. We were trying to support local people. Their lack of service will definitely influence our next remodeling job purchases.

Description of Work: Came promptly when said they would and did a beautiful job of installing the laminate flooring. Very cooperative and courteous.

Description of Work: Came out and measured for flooring. I went over to get some samples and asked about a certain kind of flooring and he said he would get back with me after he made some calls. Never heard from him again!

Description of Work: We contacted Evan Carter and Dwight Bohannon at Cornerstone Flooring when we wanted to update two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Evan handles the remodels, so we primarily worked with him. They took their time giving us a quote. It seemed a little pricey but we were assured they would do quality work. Unfortunately this was not the case. We were very specific with what we wanted and asked them repeatedly about the steps they would take to ensure our home was not damaged. They day work was to begin they did not show up and when we called they finally came over to begin demolition. They proceeded to tear out the old baths without covering any of our existing woodwork, which they damaged. When I asked Evan about this he was extremely hostile toward me. After we covered the woodwork ourselves, they began work. They sent unlicensed workers to perform plumbing and electrical work. When we questioned this, Evan was again hostile and became angry with us for expecting higher standards. We demanded licensed workers and after that incident they quit showing up all together. When they did, they would only work for an hour or two. We contacted Dwight but he did not offer any solution and told us he did not handle this part of the business. He intervened a little, but it also concerned us that he was ok with day workers performing plumbing and electrical tasks. After three weeks of this, we finally fired them. I guess the only good thing about them not working very much whas that the new contractors had less mistakes to fix.
