Mountain Brook Appliance Repair

Several days prior, I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday August 27 from 9 to 11 to have them repair a broken dryer . I did so as I was taking a vacation day for several home projects. Called the day before to confirm and found that they would not respond to me without a reference number. No reference number was provided at the time of scheduling. . They said they would have the technician call me. Apparently this company uses a national answering service and does not have a local phone presence. The technician never called. I called back the next morning and they finally gave me the technicians (George) direct number. I called and left a voice mail. No response. Finally after they missed the appointed time I called the answering service back and they then said that the technician was out due to illness. I asked that the owner call me. No one from the company has called me! Where is the owner? I took a day off work to schedule this repair and now I am left with no repairman and a broken dryer. Do not use this company.
