Morris Building And Restoration

I hired Danny Morris as the general contractor to add space for my teenage children. Basically this guy will try to rip you off and make all kinds of excuses about how you need to spend more money. I was assured by Danny Morris that the project was priced within my budget and now 9 months later it is still unfinished, foolishly I paid him with the exception of the "extras" the electrical company is trying to charge me, that I was never made aware of. He has ruined the overall curb appeal of my house, the structure is much taller than the original drawing. The building inspector in Mountain Brook advised me to contact the Home Builders Licensing Board to file a case which I have done, Morris has still not responded. I have also been in contact with an attorney to help me. The final thing that has pushed me to report Morris on this site is that I tried once again to contact him via email to get the name and number of the HVAC guy, the heat pump that has been installed keeps freezing up, no response. It's 58 degrees in the house today, January 10th . The guy doesn't even have to common courtesy email me a name and number so that I can resolve the problem myself.
