Was told that there was no leaks. Just had someone install insulation under my house and there are very obvious leaks in the duct system. Enough said. Just wasted my money.
Description of Work: First of all, not sure of the date but really do not want to expend anymore time wasting my money with this company. Expanding on a previous post. Called company to come look at a/c duct work under house for leaks due to high power bills. Technician came, turned on system, he went into crawl space. Reported no leaks.

I called this company at approximately 0800 on 1/20/2015 and they were at my house at 0925. I needed my heat pump looked at because during the early morning hours there was a loud noise outside my bedroom. This noise was so loud that it startled me out of sleep and I thought someone was breaking into the house next door. I had looked out the window and around my house and saw nothing. My brother, who lives with me, had heard the same noise but had heard it the week before and thought it was the heat pump. That is way I called this company. I am new to the area and an associate had recommended this company to me the first time I used them. The first time was to look under my house where my ducts are located to see if there were any leaks because my electric bill was high to me. The first visit was good and the technician came and crawled under my house. He said no leaks. He was at my house for approximately an hour. I am not 100% sure but he charged approximately $80 which I thought was reasonable. When I called the second time, the technician came out very promptly - less than two hours later. He was at my house for approximately 30 minutes which included the time spent talking to me and writing his invoice. When he gave me the invoice for $105, I was shocked and told him I thought that was high based on his services compared to the first technician that went under my house. I questioned the invoice because it stated "total materials" was $45. I asked him what materials he provided and he said his company was too cheap to get new invoices. It showed $45 for materials and $60 for labor to equal $105. He showed one (1) hour of diagnostics/labor. I understand about a service charge, etc.; however, I think for 10 minutes of true work and the rest spent telling me the deficiencies of my house does not warrant this charge. I told him I would never use his company again. I really thought he would relay this to his company and I would receive a call especially since it took two weeks for them to deposit my check.
Description of Work: The technician opened up a panel on the side of the heat pump which housed the "brain" of the system. I am no expert on the correct terms to use. I explained to him about the noise. He proceeded to tell me that because I lived in an old house (which I do) and I had single pane windows, I would hear this noise. I explained that it has only happened twice and even if I had double pane windows, I would have heard this noise - that is how loud it was! Again, he started explaining all the deficiencies about my house - not having double pane, house off ground, no insulation (which he had no idea if I did or did not!) He never took any other panels off. He stated it was due to the defrost system of the heat pump where it reverses which caused this noise. This is what he did: He put the defrost timer from 30 to 60 minutes from the panel he opened. That was it.

The estimate was about ten thousand dollars. I just didn't go with them because the guy talked really fast and he almost seemed like he was on some kind of drug. He gave me a lot more information than what I wanted and then when I asked him questions, he couldn't answer them. He came back and told me that we have a 4 ton system but he recommended a 5 ton system. I didn't think that was correct. I didn't like the guy and I didn't trust his information. His response was good and he came quickly.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from them for a heat pump.

They were awesome. I put this company through the ringer. I would ask very detailed questions, and they were very considerate and very responsive to my questions. I have recommended them to everyone I know. The installers were professional and clean. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. They even took my schedule and worked around it. They also checked with me before they proceeded with anything that I needed to know about. Dennis the owner was an absolute pleasure to work with.
Description of Work: They completely replaced our primary HVAC system and inspected and installed with duct work an additional unit for my "man cave". Both of these units were heat pumps.

You can give him A's all the way across.
Description of Work: I used Tillery Heating And Air Conditioning for my central heating. He put in a central heating unit for me. This is an older house that we bought and it originally did not have central heat but it had and old wall unit. He actually ran the duct work, central heat and left it acceptable for central air.

The heat pump was installed in June. The cooling worked but the heat didn't work correctly. It took several days to get a technician to correct the problem. A service call revealed the heat pump wasn't wired correctly. I had numerous problems with billing. The on demand water system was installed in July and I am already having problems with it. The burner wouldn't light which left me without any hot water. I called the on call technician but he didn't know about that type of system. A service call was scheduled the first thing the following morning. At 9 am, I had to call them to inquire when they could be expected. Between 10 am and 10:30 was the quoted time. That time to me is not the first thing in the morning especially when it's winter and there is no hot water at all to shower.
Description of Work: I had a Rheem on demand hot water system and a Carrier Heat Pump system.

Tillery's motto "For Dependability, Call Tillery" is right on. They were able to install my new unit only 2 days, after I asked for the quote and decided to get the install. They personnel were very professional and had the new unit up and running by the end of the day.
Description of Work: Removed existing heating and air conditioning system and replaced it with a brand new hybrid heating and air conditioning system.
