Mr. Sternenberg fell short of his commitment to us. his clients. The job was poorly supervised and when problematic issues arose, Mr. Sternenberg failed to take responsibility for these issues. The problems in our home are too many to list. The issues are both structural and cosmetic in nature. The entire second floor is out of level, most walls are out of plumb, doors are warped and I'll fitting, exterior paint is peeling off in sheets,as the wood was not properly prepared or primed. Furthermore, lesser quality products were substituted for the specified products. Custom mahogany doors were made of substandard Supra doors. Outside doors are Supra instead of the mahogany that was specified and paid for. The carport is walled with Sheetrock for inside walls and are deteriorating from moisture. Roof leaks, leaking doorways,cupping wooden floors,wiring installed incorrectly (that would lead to possible fires) plumbing that was never connected to the sewage system and much more. Sternenberg violated the contract , failed to deliver the product that was bid on and failed to carry required insurance which led to our inability to recover the damages .
