About us

Southern Shutter is a manufacture of custom interior and exterior wood shutters. Our exterior product line consist of 14 different styles of exterior shutters that are available in wesern red cedar, mahogany, spanish cedar and cypress. The different types of shutters include louvered, paneled, movable louvered and bahama styles. We offer many custom options such as arching, beaded shiplap, modifing styles and rails, decorative molding, decorative cut outs in panels, panel louver combinations and many others. Our shutters can be ordered raw wood, primed, primmed and prepped for finish paint or custom finish painted to the color and sheen of your choice. The interior product line consist of seven different shutters styles that are available in vaccume coat primed, basswood, mahogany, red oak and pine. The different types of shutter styles include movable louvers, paneled, fixed louver as well as shutter sets and horizontal wood blinds. The same custom options that are available to exterior shutters are also available for interior shutters. Southern Shutter also offers a custom framing option for movable louver and paneled shutters for a cleaner more decorative installation. The interior shutters can be offered in raw wood, primed, primed and prepped for finish paint or custom finish painted to the color and sheen of your choice. Southern Shutter also offers a full line of shutter hardware for both exterior and interior shutters. Southern shutter offers a lifetime warranty against manufacture defect on all of its shutters.

The shutters turned out beautiful. I get asked about them all the time. I made an appointment for them to measure and give me a quote. The salesman was on time and very courteous. Once we agreed on a price, he gave me an installation date and everything progressed as planned. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend them to everyone.
