When using the shower, the water spout and metal handles caused a tingling in the body when touched. We had used an electrician the month before to restore power to our house when a neighbor's tree fell across the power lines and snatched the power lines from the wall. They worked on our house at the same time as the neighbor's house where the tree had fallen, were there less than 2 hours, left a mess in the yard, and charged us $500. We had called a plumber about the bathroom and asked them about a reputable electrician. That is how we found out about R & H. They came right out. They found two places that should have been grounded that weren't. After grounding those, the current was still present in the bathroom. They spent 5 1/2 hours tracking down the problem. The total bill was $525 - a real bargain after the last electrician. We wondered why the other electrician didn't see the lines weren't properly grounded right there by the power meter where they were connecting the power from the tree that fell. The owner of R & H was so concerned about our home, he called Alabama Power and asked them to come and make sure our home was safe. R & H told us to call them back if the power company did not come. R & H called the power company three times before they came to check our home. That is above and beyond the call of duty. We were so impressed about their concern for our safety. We now have an electrician to call when we need one!
