The cleaning lady is very sweet. But she has progressively gotten worse. Things that she absolutley cannot do are:Load dishwasherShe is not thorough nor is she detailed. She has spilled bleach on my carpets, consistanly handles my shower curtain with gloves covered in bleach-like substances (Comet maybe). She breaks things but doesn't report any breakages. It's unpleasant to have to grill my family within an inch of their lives over things that were damaged or destroyed by someone that I PAY to clean! If she would have left some little note of admission/ apology, it would have saved some rather unpleasant family encounters. The house, on a positive note, smells clean, she shows up (for the most part) on time and ready to dig in. But my house isn't messy to begin with, so if someone is not attuned to details, the sloppiness of the "cleaning" really stands out. Okay, so the problem areas are: (1). not really a professional cleaner (cannot detect any training) (2). She breaks things or stains things, but doesn't tell me about the damages (3). I am missing jewelry. Not overly expensive stuff, but very well liked and now I'm really ticked!
Description of Work: Used this service weekly. Cleaning woman is to sweep, mop, dust all common areas. Wipe all countertops, put away folded towels, only vacuum and dust bedrooms that are tidy enough to navigate through (I have grown sloppy children, college age, who have been given the incentive that if their laundry is not put up, their rooms will not be vacuumed or dusted, and their baths will not be mopped or scrubbed). I have 3 1/2 baths that are to be scrubbed (usually, only 1 1/2 gets done, due to previous comment). No laundry, no bed linens changed, but I have on occasion asked for her to load my dishwasher with any dishes left in the sink. As far as Cliff being a con man... that's just a dumb comment from someone who doesn't know the cost of running a business. If an employee make $10 an hr, the employer then pays an additional amount for FICA, State Unemeployement, etc. Then, there's Workers Comp, Bonding Insurance, overhead, etc. I guestimate that Cliff probably nets somewhere in the 25% range. Not bad, but he's not running a con game. He's a for-profit business man. And if the accuser on Angie's List doesn't like it or thinks it's wrong, then let him start a charitable housekeeping service... He can 1099 his or her employees and then see how long you'd like to give away business.

Cliff is a really shady business man who takes advantage of the women working for him. After hiring this company, it occurred to me to ask the woman cleaning my house how much she was getting of the money I was paying. As it turns out, less than half goes to the women actually doing the work. Cliff has a perfect con business. He takes the phone calls, then more than half the money. I have no doubt that he is not paying taxes and is not paying into social security for these hard working women.

Our house cleaner comes in once a week and does almost anything you ask. The company has been in business over 10 years and is very reliable.
Description of Work: We were looking for a reasonable company to come clean our house once a week. After getting quotes from several businesses we decided to go with Personal Home Care Services. A very good choice. The company and the employee is professional and very good. I am pleased with there service and would recommend them to anyone.
