DO NOT LET THEM INSTALL A UNIT! They use inferior products which will continually need repairs. After the about 3 years the insulation keeps coming loose and their answer is to just "glue it back on" and this only solves the problem short-term. Now the warranty is up for labor and it cost about $200 per call and so far this summer it has already come lose 3 times. They have finally decided to order a new part and it will take 3 weeks to arrive. On top of that they have not logged the service calls so according to them they had never been out before until this year when I need to pay for service. Their technicians are either completely incompetent or they are willfully not permanently fixing the problem so they can keep returning for service calls. Completely unsatisified!

They have been excellent and I was very pleased with them. I would highly recommend them.

I think it’s only one time we’ve had to call them back out again. I felt like what they were replacing could be of a better quality. It seems like it wasn’t as good.

What could have made he experience better if we felt like we had a choice. It was kind of one of those things when you find out what American Home Shields was going to pay and they did the work they are doing you felt like you have no choice but to go up higher. It would have been better to feel like you wasn’t forced or that was the only way to truly get anything done.

This company has a contract with American Home Shield (home warranty company). The owner came out & gave an estimate of $610 total amount we the owners would have to pay. Our tenants had not had any hot water in a week. We reluctantly agreed to making an appointment. In the meantime, I ask the owner to call me because I did not like having to pay $610 co-payment. I never received a call. Nor would this company nor American Home Shield tell me how much the total cost was. I believe this company inflates (pads) the cost because they know they can since this is the only contractor AHS uses for this particular service. Also this same company came out for a thermostat problem on our air conditioner unit. They persuaded us that we needed add'l service, such as adding freon & cleaning the air conditioner coils. All of which adds to their bottom line.

Terrible. We use American Home Shield and they were called on May 20, 2013 because the unit wasn 't cooling. They came and said a board in the unit in the attic needed to be replaced. They ordered the wrong part and it took a week to get it in. The rep came to our house at 10:00 PM and stayed until 1:00 AM replacing the board in the attic,that didn't fix the problem, replaced the thermostat, that didn't fix the problem and said he was going to have to order a new board for the outside unit. He bypassed something where it would work at about half capacity. A week later they came to replace the board outside and said the whole unit outside needed to be replaced. Another week and they came and tried to charge us $200.00 for a concrete pad they didn't put down and replaced the outside unit. It cooled two days and went back out. We called AMS and requested another company. There was no sense of urgency on the part of the General Manager when I called to complain and he would do nothing to accommodate them coming out sooner to install the outside unit even though we had been without air for a month. Terrible service.

It went pretty well and I like their responsiveness even though it was really hot down here they didn’t take a long time to show up even though they got a lot of jobs so that they must have a lot of staff. Their price is very good.

I have not been satisfied with the quality of the service.

In the past, they did not do a good job with the plumbing. When the A/C guy came out he did a good job. The A/C guy is great, and the plumbing guys are awful. The A/C guy was very friendly and very efficient. He did a great job. These grades are based on the A/C work they just did.

They offered a really good price on a package for the twice-a-year check-up on your complete system. They had a special going and it was like $70 off, so I really liked that. I was really pleased with them.

My air conditioner went out and it took them an entire week to come look at it. The guy was very rude. I would never use them again.

They were sent to us by our home warranty company. I had a good experience with them although I know a lot of people who have used them and didn't have good experiences. It took them four times to get to my house to find the problem but they did replace the whole air conditioning system. I had a good outcome but it did take a while to get there. They came to my house four times and I had four different people show up each time. One of the guys that came out was fabulous but on one of the days a couple of guys that came out, I wouldn't ever want them back in my house. Over the four times I had good experiences and bad experiences. Sometimes they just didn't seem to know what they were doing. The first time they put Freon in my unit and that worked for about twenty four hours. They came back out and discovered that it was not a Freon leak and that it was a condenser leak so they put Freon in my condenser the second time to keep it cool until they could determine what was going to happen. My home warranty company decided they were going to replace the whole interior unit and not just the condenser. The third time they actually came out to install my new unit and those were who I had a problem with. They installed and left my house at about three o'clock. Something they did and it never cooled and it was a Friday afternoon so that whole weekend my house stayed above eighty degrees. They sent a forth guy out on Tuesday and he just discovered that they had not installed something properly so he fixed it and its working ever since. I don't have a choice but to use them again because that's who my home warranty company is going to send.

I don't think anyone should use them. They're not punctual. They were polite, but a little curt.

Terribly. The Myers Co. has been out to our house now 3 times and still have not fixed the problem. Each time they come by they tell my wife the unit is working fine and that we "just have the set the thermostat lower". Bogus. The HVAC continues to blow warm air in this ridiculous 100+ degree weather. On top of this, when I call them back to have another technician come out to fix the problem that the technician before them didn't fix, they make us wait another 4-5 days to get an appointment. You would think we'd be at the top of the list since they didn't get it right the first time. I found their customer service unhelpful and their technicians to be incompetent. I would highly NOT recommend this company, if you have a choice.
