The price was about $1000 for a hall and a bathroom which was too much. The final product did turn out well. To begin with, I told him that I have asthma and COPD. He sanded down the walls and didn’t clean up the debris very well at all. I wanted to pick up the paint myself, but he insisted that he would get the paint. It was a lead base. It had warnings on it and had been banned in a couple of states. I didn’t realize until after he left. Then I got bronchitis and got much sicker. Through the process, it took him about a week and he left dust everywhere. He thought he needed more color than what I wanted. He didn’t clean up as I said. When he finally finished, it wasn’t exactly right. So, I called and had to ask for more paint. So, he did come out and touch it up. In December, I moved from that place and I could still smell the paint when I went into the bathroom. That’s when I started reading on the back of the label that had been banned in California and one other state. I offered to buy the paint myself and I usually get a certain brand of paint, but he insisted that he would get it. I guess he got some special price. His work turned out okay, but it was like he didn’t have a lot of consideration for the fact that I had asthma and COPD. I thought his price was too high. I should have got several other estimates, but I went by Angie’s List reviews. I would never hire him again. When it comes to his responsiveness, I had to stay on him all the time.

It took too long for him to give me an estimate and I just didn't feel he was reliable.

Mike is great and a very trustworthy man...We have allowed him to be in our house on several occasions without us there and without incident...He is hardworking and gets the job done right. My only complaint is that Mike tends to get distracted and can take a while to complete the project.

Mike was professional, and did a great job. He even did a few extra things like fixing a couple of shingles on my roof and caulking around windows that the builder failed to caulk. He used a great quality paint and it looks wonderful. Mike is a very pleasant person and seems to enjoy his work. His estimate was right in line with others that I received but I went with him because of personal recommendations from my co-workers. I would definitly use him again.
