Description of Work: Start date 6/15/15 - Douglas Missledine called & emailed at 8:30A & asked can I start tomorrow. I emailed back, "Yes". 6/16/15 - no call, no email, no show. I called Douglas on 6/18 & set up new start date for 6/22/15. Douglas & 2 workers showed up at 8:45A. Pulled up linoleum from kitchen floor and began fixing a door. Douglas & his crew left at approx. 10:30A to go get a sander and NEVER came back. I finally called him on 6/25. Douglas said he went to his office after leaving my house and was immediately taken by ambulance to the hospital. Douglas said he was still in the hospital for tests. The hospital was unable to confirm Douglas Missildine's admittance because he was not on their admit list. I asked Douglas several times why he did not call me and let me know what the situation was instead of just leaving me in the lurch. Douglas answers varied from he "was in too much pain", he had "shut down his business" and he was "out of it" all week. | |Home Impressions left me with a room full of linoleum that had to be cut up, loaded on a truck and taken to a trash pick up, a door filled with Bondo and a boatload of expensive supplies Douglas instructed me to purchase so his company could do the work I contracted him to do.
