Had to run to Montgomery for an emergency for my elder parents due to Ac not working. Called Jeff on a neighbors recommendation. Could not have made a better choice. To say Jeff was through wouldn't do him credit. As a general contractor for over 30 years he is by far one of the best I've ever seen. No reservations giving Hammonds my highest recommendation. I contacted Kim who handles the office and dispatching. She arranged for a service call. The two gentlemen came, found the problem, replaced the motor unit and left. Works great. Jeff was the one who told me 5 years ago that I didn't need to replace my unit like I was being advised by another HVAC company at a cost of $5,000. At the time, Jeff suggested I repair the leak and get a few more years out of the unit. That was five years ago and it still works great.

Provider was supposed to contact about scheduling a visit to fix an issue with A/c duct in the house that we are renting. My husband called back again to see why we have not received a call yet to set a date, they gave him a set date to come fix the issue. Turns out, you have to chase the provider constantly to get a response form them. Since we had already called the week+ before, I, highly frustrated(and rightfully so) called back to follow up to see why we had to wait yet another few days. The lady who called me back was the most unprofessional and unpleasant person to have ever encountered. She yelled AT ME for being frustrated at the situation and hung up. I would not use them in the future, personally but unfortunately our Landlord had dealings with them for this particular A/C so they cannot be avoided. Basically, i'd HIGHLY SUGGEST finding some other provider. I myself would never use them. They are extremely rude and have zero professionalism.

I called in a service call as my a/c outdoor compressor was running but the indoor unit was not. Therefore no air conditioning. A day earlier the breaker tripped as well which concerned me. Jeff came out and fixed it and didn't even charge me for his time. It likely was minor but still I was impressed as this just doesn't happen. Three and a half years ago I had him come out for a second opinion. Another local and well established firm told me I needed a new a/c unit at a cost of $5,000. So I contacted Jeff. He and his wife come by to inspect. He advised me to simply repair the leak and recharge the unit with R22. He believed I had a few years left on this unit. That only cost me $450 and I have now put 3 1/2 additional years on this aging unit. Jeff just understands that if he treats his customers fairly he will have them forever. When it is time to finally replace my unit, guess who I will call?

They were friendly, courteous on time and came in under bid estimate plus did some extra.

I asked for an estimate to replace my air and transition to gas heat. They barely glanced around, took no measurements and then proceeded to tell me I needed a larger unit than I did. We did not hire them, they were very unprofessional.

Jeff wasted no time getting started. He brought tools in the house with him. He was finished in no time and had a thorough knowledge of how to install, connect, disposal, dishwasher, and cooktop stove. He repaired my AC yesterday. He knows a lot about a lot of appliances.
