I decided to use Guyette after several companies failed to come out and give an estimate. The company I wanted to use (CAPITAL ROOFING) would not give a discount although I had recently used them to seal the boots so I decide to go with another company. Guyette did the job in a few hours and my roof is the PRETTIEST roof in the neighborhood. My only concerns are as follows: (1) The workers drank Red Bull and threw the cans everywhere and (2) They left nails right outside of my door and it was summer and I had on flip flops and stepped on them and (3) I referred 2 co-workers to Guyette's. I don't think they ever showed up to do the work as promised

Entire project was on time and work was done around our schedule.

He was very professional and did what he said he would do. The employees were very clean and were always on time. Overall, they did a very good job and had a great experience with the contractor.

They were very quick about getting back to me and were very knowledgeable. Their estimate was very high. I decided not to do the work though.

They came out to look at the job. They prepared a very nice and detailed estimate. It was for about $700. They were unusually friendly and articulate over the phone. They haven't come to do the work yet. They said they would be here anytime to do it. They were excellent. They have a great website too. We are waiting on them now.

However, because they do such good work, I can see how at times, they can be so busy that they're hard to get in contact with, the first time you're calling their company. But because I'm concerned most with quality work and dependability, and because of their high Angies List rating, I was persistent. . So this company is worth a bit of effort trying to first contact them, because it does such good work and they are dependable. It's just that I had to try a few times to make initial contact with someone, but once I did, everything worked great. My other favorite roofing company I used for 20+ years went out of business last year. But now I think I have new favorite.

I called and requested an estimate for repair of some rotting wood on my eaves. When I talked to the receptionist, she took my information and told me that someone from the company would call me back that afternoon and set up an appointment. No response for three days. When I called back again and gave same information the company had no record of my call. Again, I was told I would get a call back that afternoon. Two days later still nothing heard. I'm very disappointed in this company. While the online reviews were very positive, but I cannot recommend this company based on responsiveness, punctuality, or professionalism.

The work was performed as scheduled and completed as scheduled. The workers were courtious and cleaned up after themselves but not to the degree of what it was before they started. The quality of the work was acceptable but it is obious that these guys are roofers first. The attention to detail on mudding the corners was lacking and several hours of sanding is still required. Some of the sheetrock was nailed and some was screwed. The screwed rock was not properly countersunk and I fear may cause problems in the future. I spoke to the worker about this but, there is a language barrier (I don't speak Spanish). The horizontal seams are noticable even after several coats of paint. Mr Guyette way over estimated the number of hours spent on the project therefore I feel the price was inflated. He estimated in our initial conversation 48 man hours and being generious, at best they spent 30. No I won't use them again........

First to start off, I have heard only good things about Mr. Guyette's company - everyone agrees that the work he does, he does for a fair price and it is excellent in quality. Based on my first meeting with him when he came out to appraise my requirement, I believed it was deserved. He was professional and extremely courteous and I felt that I had hit on an absolute great opportunity since I am relatively new to the area. Work included paint stripping a metal gazebo (which would require sand-blasting), installing a couple roofing planks, and repainting the gazebo as well as a separate deck railing. Mr Guyette stated he would get back with me with a bid for his services in 5-7 business days (as he would need to find someone who did sand-blasting). It has now been 3 weeks and I have not heard from him or his company - even to tell me that he could not do the work. I have called both his cell and office phone number as well as sent a request through the company's internet site and was unable to get a response. I truly believe, based on recommendations from co-workers and other company's in his industry who know of his work, that his company is well respected and does good work. Hopefully my experience is an exception to the rule or there are other circumstances which I am not aware of which resulted in what happened to me. I hope that this paragraph here explains my low rating for responsiveness, and also explains why I rated the professionalism fair - again, good reputation and professionalism on actual contact - but customer courtesy also belongs in that category.

Came out and viewed the project and gave an estimate. Set up a date to do the work. Completed the work and left the propery clean.

I found Guyette's Contracting through Angie's List, the BBB, and I checked out his website. Mr. Guyette returned my initial phone call within 1 business day and came out to provide an estimate. He offered options, but did not try to sell me anything I did not need. He was polite and professional throughout. It took about a week to make it on the schedule; however, on the day of the project I was very impressed. Mr. Guyette arrived with a crew of nine and he stayed on site to supervise. The crew was professional, paid attention to detail, and cleaned everything up. I was very happy with the final result. Great company!

I had called Guyette's one time previously regarding another project and did not get a return call. He replaced many roofs in my neighborhood and I have heard many positive things about him and his work, so I called again when I had a small roofing leak. I did call and inquire about whether he was coming by at the time he originally indicated. He is a very pleasant and honest businessman. The leak has stopped and the service was timely, efficient, and effective.

I had used Guyette before to repair a minor leak in the roof. When the insurance company said the whole roof need to be replaced I call three roofing companies including Guyette. Guyette returned the call right away and came out to see the roof the next day. He gave me a price of 108 square plus vent, drip edge, and valleys for 10,000.00. Of the other two roofers one never returned the call and the other took over a week for them to show up to view the roof and another week and ahalf to give me the estimate. And the estimate was for less square and additional cost for items included in Guyette price that added up to over guyettes. For the job it's self the crew showed up before the scheduled start time and check with me about starting early. Guyette's son was the crew boss and worked with the crew to strip the old, apply the felt, and reshingle the roof. They work from the time the arrived until the job was completed. They left the whole job site clean with no nails or debreyin the beds around the house. The workmanship is great.

The major work was done in a timely manner (work was done mainly for State Farm homeowners insurance purposes), however, there were minor areas that were left unfinished. For the work that was done the price was a little bit expensive, but overall the work was o.k.

Mr. Guyette was careful to explain what he would do each day, when his crew would arrive, when he would be there, etc. He was careful to clean up at the end of each day on a four day job. He was punctual and finished on time. If I had a concern, he cheerfully corrected it. I liked his work enough to call him back to do other things. He may be a bit on the high side cost wise, but he gets it right. He also is very careful to itemize so you know exactly what the cost are.

I'm pleased with it. They did a nice job cleaning up after themselves as well. They made sure there were no nails in the street or driveway.
