BTops showed up when they said they would, completed the job quickly, cleaned up the site and the drain works better that I expected.

It went well as this service has a track record of knowing about all landscaping issues.

They were great. They were a little pricey, but they were good. The best parts were they were very professional and very responsive. After I had reached out to them, they did call me and we set up the appointment. They came out. They were very knowledgeable. They were very professional. I enjoyed working with them. What I didn't like was they were a lot more expensive than I was expecting. They had a large crew that came out to do it and yet it took several hours which, of course, I had to pay for. I wasn't totally content with the price, but they did do a very good job. I did like them.

Very well. They always do a good job and guarantee their work.

I made an appointment with Mr. Bennett for an estimate. He was on time and provided me with a reasonable cost for the work to be done. Mr Bennett recommended loropetalum from the shrubs. The work was scheduled on a Saturday and was completed within 2-3 hours. Mr. Bennett's crew did a fantastic job. The landscaping was beautifully done. I am very pleased with the work done by BTOPS and by their professionalism. One of the most professional contractors I have ever dealt with. BTOPS comes highly recommended.

Soon after we bought our house we discovered that the back yard became a swamp for many days after a heavy rain. The house was suffering water damage near the foundation and everything was just a mess. I called Bobby and he came over the same day. He listened to me as I explained the problem to him and came up with the solution of installing french drains. This was on a Friday and Bobby started the job the following Monday morning. I can't say enough about his crew; they worked so hard for three days, even during a very heavy rain. Now our yard drains properly and we can start to repair some of the areas that were water damaged in the past. I will certainly hire Bobby and his crew again.

The work was professionally carried out and on time. Furthermore, the work team was able to accommodate our schedule as I had to travel some after they began work. When two of my existing sprinkler heads were not adequately covering the new sod, the BTOPS irrigation man came out and rerouted the existing sprinkler heads on that part of the lawn and installed three new ones to make sure the new sod received adequate water.

I have used BTOP in the past and been satisfied so we reached out again to set up a meeting for an estimate. On the original date, it was bad weather all day however by the time of the meeting the weather had cleared in our area. We did receive a phone call 15 minutes prior to the meeting time that the weather was bad in their area so although we would have liked more notice, we understood. The meeting was rescheduled, my husband left work early and approximately 30 minutes past the scheduled time my husband called, spoke with the secretary (I think) who said she would check. She called back to tell us Mr. Bennett would not be able to make it due to the rain, it was not raining in our area. This is extremely unsatisfactory for us to NOT be notified, common courtesy. This was on 4/17 and I waited until this post of 4/20 to see if Mr. Bennett would call to explain and nothing. Very disappointed and we will not recommend.

Dates may be off on time of estimate. These folks came out on time once the appointment was set. They asked pertinent questions, understood what I was looking for, but sad to say, I simply didn't have the funds for the job. Had I had the money this would have been my company of choice.

This is the second time we have used BTOPS Landscaping and would use them again. Although I think they are a little high in cost I like the professionalism, punctuality and work done. This time there was a slight misunderstanding on a few minor items however when contacted they came right back out and made things right. Normally there are several workers but they "work" and don't stand around talking. I would recommend!

The job went well. The original steps were removed, frame constructed and cement poured on the same day. The also replaced the ties that tiered the landscape on one side of the steps to prevent erosion. The form was removed the next day. The land on the other side of the steps waS leveled ; seeds were spread out and covered with hay. They did a thorough clean up and waited for my okay before leaving. Everyone was professional, punctual and I am pleased with the job.

BTOPS Landscaping is a stellar top-notch company! A crew of 5 that can do the work of 10 hands down! I'd love to post a pic of my beautiful yard for proof. They really take the time to genuinely listen and address all your concerns. They have and excellent way of putting you at ease. This company will always steer you in the right direction. What they tell you is legit. If they don't know, they will not feed you a line but rather get you the answer. At first I was skeptical cause it's really hard to find good service these days. Seems like people want to do nothing for something. I stayed over their should but with this company you do not have to. You could actually go away let these guys work and they would make any home look like a mansion. Thanks BTOPS! You rock!

Showed up on time and worked till dark. Did exactly what was promised and left my yard in better shape than they found it. This drainage system had to be dug by hand due to standing water, buried pool lines and electrical wiring. They dug up my current sod, dug a drainage system, installed a French drain and replaced my sod. Can hardly tell they were here except for the fact that I have no more standing water. I couldn't be more pleased.

I thought that they did a good job, exactly what they said they were going to do, they were conscientious and cleaned up after themselves.

Easy to work with. Work was done in a timely manner. Very responsive to my suggestions and questions. Very pleased with the process and the result.

When I first called BTOPS and left a message, I expected having to wait a couple of days as I had called some other contractors and received late or no return calls. I was impressed that shortly after I called the number, a young man called me back and asked when would I be available to meet with Bobby, the owner. After I gave him some alternative times, he called back shortly and confimed the meeting time with me. At precisely the time agreed on, the doorbell rang and Bobby was there, shook my hand and stated he was appreciative of the opportunity to talk to me. We walked around and I gave him a big overview of what I wanted done and why; he suggested some things; we talked some more; he suggested some things. I never felt like he was trying to tell me things because they would be good for him or easier. I felt like he was genuinely trying to help me. We probaby spent 30 minutes and he said he would be in touch and get me a proposal promptly. The very next day, I received an email with his proposal attached. While I felt like the proposal was a little on the high side it was not outrageously high. When I called Bobby and told him the price range I was looking for he said he could make some adjustments without substantially altering the overall plan...like make plantings a little further apart to reduce the number needed...etc. We took some things out of the proposal that we would add on at the end, like the irrigation renovation and any additional plants needed. We were in agreement and Bobby promised he would have guys out in two days to begin the work and they did exactly what he told me he would do. Thursday, August 22nd - Several of his workers came out with him and he showed them the boundaries of the property and what to kill with the grass killer they would spray. Monday, August 26th - Workers came back out and resprayed areas that had not been killed by the original spraying. There were very few. I also took Bobby to a house down the street to look at some Zoysia grass that appeared to tolerate the shade very well. He listened and carefully examined the grass but still felt that his original suggested Zoysia grass, Empire was still what he would reccommend. I decided to listen to him with his experience and go with the Empire. My subsequent investigation online of Empire and other Zoysia grasses convinced me that Bobby was right. I have no reservations on using the Empire species. Tuesday, August 27th - Several workers came that day and with the aid of a machine specifically suited for the job, removed all the dead grass that was killed earlier and hauled it away. Wednesday, August 28th - The dump trucks arrived very early with dirt..lots of dirt...topsoil for the newly designed bed for the ground cover and sandy mixture for the areas receiving the new grass. Several workers spent the entire day spreading the dirt and forming the bed. Thursday, August 29th - The crew arrived early with plants and lots and lots and lots of pine straw. They spent the entire day installing the plants, pruning all existing plants and putting down all the pine straw in the shrubbery beds and new ground cover areas. They also extracted some old spindly shrubs and replaced them with some great evergreens. At the end of the day, all beds were complete. Friday, August 30th. As Bobby had told me, the sod truck was waiting at 7 AM, fully loaded with all the sod needed that day. He arrived and told the driver where to put the various pallets and the workers began work immediately to put the sod down. They worked tirelessly throughout the day, even during a brief thundershow to finish for the week. The lawn look lovely. Sunday, September 1 - As I watered very, very heavily Friday and Satuday nights, I awoke Sunday morning with a hugh hole in my front yard becasue of a previous excavation that had not settled sufficiently. I called Bobby and told him the story. Being a holiday weekend, he told me he couldn't have anybody there on Monday, but would get it fixed first thing Tuesday morning. I also told him I needed some help with adjusting the new sprinkler heads . Tuesday, September 3 - Early on, workers showed up with the required dirt and replacement sod if needed. They filled the hole and reinstalled the grass. Not only that but they cleaned up everything so that basically one never knew the hole had been there . Wednesday, September 4 - The irrigation person came by and adjusted all the sprinklers to maximize the coverage and minimize the waste of water. Outside of the original proposal, roughly a dozen heads had to be replaced and adjusted. Now I am certain that my irrigation system is back to it's original coverage and I was shown how to adjust the sprinklers myself if necessary. He even gave me one of his little tools that came with the sprinkle heads so I can adjust with the right tool. This has been a rather lengthy review, but I wanted to take members through a project in detail so that they understand what is involved and what to consider when evaluating a proposal for extensive lawn and landscape services. Most homeowners never have to do what I did, but should someone want to do this, I wanted them to consider all that has to be done and all the manual labor involved when evaluating a proposal. BTOPS Lanscaping did what I wanted the way I wanted it done and I can only say thank you for all the hard work. It may be necessary to call them in the next couple of weeks if the hole in my front yard settles some more, but I am sure they will be here in a short period. It is my personal opinion that I picked the right company and most especially the right people when I contacted BTOPS Landscaping, Inc.

Bobby and his team are great to work with. They show up when the say they will and work till dark. Their work is high quality and they clean up after to make it look like they were never there. Bobby helped to design the area but was most interested in working with us to ensure that we achieved the look we had in mind. He even brought extra plants, moved items and made changes all while coming in at budget!

I was pleased with the detailed work up and cost analysis. The estimated costs were reasonable and the work up very professionally done. I can not have the work done right now, but certainly would use this company. Not only was I pleased with the performance of this company in the project estimate work up, but was also impressed with the young man representing this company. He was extremely helpful and willing to take the time to determine my needs and ideas, and willing to work on any adjustments needed. Also, very respectful and courteous. I give him and the company an A+ rating!

Bobby's crew showed up on time and worked hard all day hand digging as the big equipment couldn't get in the fenced areas. They continued to work through the rain and even washed and dried the entire cement area, including the street in front of our home! The work was done in one day and the foreman asked prior to leaving if everything was to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this company.

They were very, very professional. They communicated very well with their customers. But I didn't pursue on working with them.

Mr. Bennett performed the work for my mother; she has asked that I provide the review for her. Her beds have not been maintained for several years so there was a lot to do. She said she was very satisfied with the work and was very impressed with Mr. Bennett's professionalism and attention to detail. They came when scheduled to start the job and completed it in the same day. Plantings were pruned by hand instead of by a gas trimmer so it provides a more natural look. Fresh pine straw was put down as well as weeds pulled and plants fertilized. She is very happy and says it looks very clean and neat now. The only down-side for her was the "per hour/per man" charge as she would have preferred and quoted flat rate. But he gave her an estimated time frame it would take them to complete the job and that's what it took; no longer. She said she will use Mr. Bennett again in the future.

He put 10 sprinkler heads into my yard and I live in a condo. My yard isn?t that big and I have a flower bed that takes up about 90% of the front yard. He didn?t even install them correctly and had one directed at the front of the house where it already had some mold. I was sick and didn?t have time to put through a complaint on him at the time.

Owner, Bobby, was in regular contact with me. Really knew his business and took the time to explain what he was doing. He graded the property and got the water flowing away from the house. Crew was punctual and did a great job. Yard is now professionally landscaped. Definitely use BTOPS for your landscaping needs.
