Bell Road Ornamental Iron

About a 18 months ago, I had a automated gate built and installed by Bell Road Ornamental Iron. My gate has always unexpectedly opened when windy. It took multiple calls and weeks for someone to come out and attempt to repair the issue. The problem was never rectified. On 5/21/2012, I called at 8am to report that my gate was standing wide open and I assumed that the thunderstorm from the day before was responsible. I was told that the owner was not in yet and he would call me when he came in. Two and a half hours later, I called back. I was told that the owner was now out on another job and I left another detailed message concerning my gate that is still standing open. At 4:00, I called again and was told that the owner had gone home for the day. The man that I was speaking to then told me that they would come out and take a look at my gate the next time they were in my area for another job. I asked when that might be and was told that he did not know. Since my gate was still standing open, my large dogs could not be left unattended in my yard, so I was forced to keep them in my house when I was away from home. This is definitely not preferable.As with my past expierence of their slow response and the fact that the owner would not return my calls or his employees had any information other than they would come out when they were in the area, I had no choice but to find other means of repair to my gate. I started calling other companies at 8am on 5/23/12 and bought, what I assume, is neccesary to repair my gate opener, even though it is still under warranty. At 12pm, I received a call from a Bell Road Ornamental Iron employee stating that he thought that they would be out on Friday, 5/25/12 to repair my gate. I told him that I had already ordered the parts and he said "okay" and ended the phone call. Service after the sale is at best, extremely slow.
