A PLUS SEAMLESS GUTTERS

This company is the worst! If I could rate a negative I would. Do not use them, they do not stand by their product when they claim they will. They installed gutters on my house approximately 3 years or so ago. I recently noticed my soffit was rotten in a corner under the gutters. Called them out to look at and the owner doesn't show up and sends a crew. Had them remove leaf guards (biggest waste of money)because more water comes over gutters than goes in. Even when they removed the leaf guards they said the downspouts were clogged. I thought the leaf guards were supposed to stop that? Called them back to address the rotten soffit and again no owner sends a crew. I guess he is ashamed of his work and knows he messed up. They come out and look at it and talk with owner and he says he will charge $1,000 to fix what his product messed up! The gutters weren't even $1,000 new! I called and questioned this and they said the "gutters have a one year warranty". That is not what they said when they sold them to me. They even said it takes time for the rot to show up yet they will not address this. Even the crew said the gutters caused the problem. Bottom line is DO NOT use this company! They lie and do not stand behind their product even though they say they will. HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!

Absolutely exceptional! Careful, very high quality work. Precisely on time start and finish. Completely professional and unobtrusive. With 30 years' experience (the least experienced member of his crew has been with him 15 years), he knows what needs to be done, why it should be done, and how it should be done. He even matched the color of the gutters to our house paint so closely you can't see any difference on the closest inspection. Even the leaf screens (that keep debris out of the gutters) overlap so there can be no holes. Gutters are larger than usual to handle downpours, but they look like normal size when you see them on the house. I don't recommend many people, but A Plus Seamless Gutters lives up to its name and more! (I have no connection with Steve whatever and never used him before.)

Installed gutters but placed discharge onto neighbor's property. Only redirected it after significant argument. After Steve left, I discovered damage to my property that could only have been caused by him or coworker. He denied responsibility and refused to make it good. I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

spoke on the phone, came out the day of the call, very professional and courteous, we agreed on a price and an install time, they color matched the gutters, were at the house about 2 hours total, very fast, looks awesome!

I asked Steve to remove and reinstall new gutters on a new build. The first gutter system was done inappropriately. He explained in detail what was wrong and what he would do to fix the problem. In the process of installing the new gutters, he found the roof to have other issue with the installation. On his own effort, he called the manufacture to determine what could be done and how to solve the problems created by the original roofer. Through this process, the manufacture seemed to be less than helpful not wanting to come look at the project to verify any problems. Steve still has continued to help me resolve the roof issue when he has had no invested interest. Steve believes and stands by his gutters and work. If there is a problem, he fixes it and doesn’t blow you off. He is a person of his word and goes beyond is contracted job to protect the consumer. Concerning others comments on price. Steve’s price was the same as the original contractor’s gutters price. Thus, I would not say he is more expensive than the few other companies in the area that do gutters. He is experienced, does what he says, and backs his work. My experience with Steve was excellent and I would highly recommend his company.

I removed my previous assessment of the services provided by Steve because I received a threatening letter from Steve's attorney shortly after I posted it. Apparently when you write an honest negative review here on Angie's List, the contractor can allege that you slandered them. Amazing. So in that spirit, I have revised my assessment in a good faith effort so as not to offend anyone. The following is my honest and true experience in dealing with this company. Isn't that the point of Angie's List? To begin, this is only the second negative review of a business I have given on Angie's List. The 1st was for true incompetence. This one is for an amazing lack of professionalism in customer relations. I expect a certain level of mutual respect when I engage a small business owner for their services, and I think that's a fair expectation. I respect them and the hard work they do everyday, and they respect me as a paying customer spending hard-earned money on their services. In my experience with Steve following the installation of gutters on my house, I received a incredible lack of professionalism and respect. I called Steve about a month ago to see if he could come back to look at a corner joint that was leaking on the gutters he installed in Oct 2012, and the conversation did not go well. I want to state up front that I am a very calm, easy going person. I don't get worked up over little stuff, and I certainly don't make a habit of getting into arguments with people over silly things. In what was a first for me, Steve quite literally yelled at me on the phone when I tried to exercise a provision of our contract that states and quot;should the workmanship (or application) of this A Plus seamless gutters authorized service prove faulty within one year, A Plus seamless gutters authorized contractor will, upon notice from you, cause such faults to be corrected by repair at no additional cost to you.and quot; To rebut this, Steve noted that on the front of the contract it states and quot;There will be an additional service charge to re-caulk corners due to any shrinking caulkand quot;, which it does, but that left a few questions in my mind. First, without looking at the leaking joint I'm speaking of, how does he know it was due to shrinking caulk and not poor workmanship? All I asked was for him to come take a look and he tells me it's going to be a $75 charge. Not that it MAY be a $75 charge if it turned out to be shrinking caulk. No. If Steve came out to fix my problem, it was going to be a $75 charge. That threw up an immediate red flag. Second, what takes precedence in the contract? The stipulation that there will be no additional costs to the customer for any repairs to work performed, or the and quot;shrinking caulkand quot; addition? A leaking gutter defeats the entire purpose of having a gutter. What good is a warranty on a product if there is an exemption regarding its functionality? That's like putting a 5 year full warranty on a car, but adding a provision that if the seals on the engine block fail and start leaking oil there will be an additional fee to fix it. No. The whole point of a warranty is to give a customer piece of mind in the functionality of a product, providing the customer didn't abuse the product. Which I didn't. It's a gutter. I just let it catch rain and it failed. Look, I'm not going to get into any more arguments with this company over a $75 re-caulking fee. I'll fix it myself. The real problem I have with A+ GUTTERS, and the reason I have given them such a low rating, was the lack of professionalism and respect received during my conversation with Steve. As a paying customer, I was literally yelled at. The damage has been done for me. For everyone else, I recommend you STAY CLEAR OF A+ GUTTERS. Not because they don't know what they're doing, or they're incompetent (in fact I think they are quite competent), but because of the abhorrent customer service I received, to include a threatening letter from his attorney, and a 1-year warranty that has proved useless to me.

I am completely delighted with Steve's work at our house. The work was done on time, with the highest professionalism, and with no disruption to us (and our flower beds). I was very impressed with Steve's straight up attitude, the quality of his product, and the quality of the work. Best of all, he did exactly what he said he would do; when he said he would do it. We will definitely be using Steve's services in the future.

They were awesome. They came out and gave us an estimate. They came exactly when they said they were going to come out. They are timely, professional and courteous. They do a good job. We're very happy with what they did.

I contacted Steve after reading reviews. He came out the same day and gave me a good estimate and explanation about what he would do to help me resolve some issues associated with the runoff from the roof of my new house. I was a little apprehensive because he was a bit more informal than I had expected. On the day of the installation, he showed up on time and immediately began work. I was really impressed with how professional his operation is organized. I confronted him that morning with a requested change to the solution that he had recommended. He worked with me to make a minor change that I felt enhanced the gutter routing of water from my roof. The finished project is fantastic. He matched the color of my trim perfectly. The appearance of the gutters has drawn praise from neighbors who asked for his contact information. The next day we had a strong downpour and the gutters did exactly what I wanted them to do. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. The only item I would mark down is price. While his pricing is well within expectations for the size home I have (over 4200 sq ft on two levels), we always want a better deal...right?

They came when the said they'd come, did what they were supposed to do, left no mess behind to clean up. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for, if you're lucky. I would definitely hire the again if I ever decide to put up more gutters.

A Plus Seamless Gutters were not that good. I would not use them again. I had and still have leaks. They were just abusive. They are a fly by night group. I would not recommend them to anybody.

Prompt on giving estimate and starting the work when when scheduled. Showed up on time the first day, worked a full day and installed the downspouts the next morning. They worked efficiently and advised me when they made small changes when it improved the overall plan. I will use A Plus Gutters again for other home improvement projects.

Would recommend. Showed up on time for estimate and work. Provided an option to clean gutters before he showed up to add screens, but his price to clean the gutters too was too reasonable to pass up.

The work turned out to be good. They responded quickly. They got the job done quickly. They are professional. They did a great job. I would use their service in the future too.

These boy's knew what they were doing. They were professional in every way. Not only did they do outstanding work they clean everything up before they left. We had no issues with this company.
