estimate and price were accurate....no issues here. Very dissatisfied with performance of subcontractor. Sloppy work, left boots around roof vent pipes off when leaving for the day. Thunderstorm that night soaked sheetrock and cabinets in kitchen and caused tile to buck up on countertop. As we were intending a kitchen remodel, we did not hold the contractor responsible. Ridge vent was not overlapped properly by metal covering peak of roof. This caused leak evident when strong west wind combined with heavy rain (e.g. most severe weather events in Alabama). Builder sent sub back to seal roof vent on west side. No further problem with this issue. Years later, after a four day rain event, the sheetrock tape fell and a leak started in our sunroom. We went into the attic and found evidence of a very long term leak, having rotted two square feet of roof decking. Further inspection has revealed several spots which apparently leak a small amount EVERY time it rains. These do not leak enough to saturate the insulation so that water comes down into the living quarters, which explains how they have escaped notice. They have ,however, each caused a spot of rot, in varying degrees, in the roof decking. These spots all show evidence of leaking since the roof was installed. Metal roofs are supposed to be the end of your roof worries for life. At least that was the way we were sold on one. We have not found that to be the case. We have more leaks now than when we contracted the roof to be installed. This was my only experience with Dave's and it will be my last.

He took money up front and never finished the work on my mothers house. He said he run out of money. So she gave him more, work still hasn't been finished. It's been almost a year. It was suppose to take only 4 months. He won't return phone calls. We sent a certified letter with a punch list of all the unfinished and unsatisfactory work. He received it, but has never responded. He's crooked. His work is very poor and unfinished. He took over 55,000 from my mother and never finished the job. He took advantage of a elderly woman. Please don't use this man, or his company
