I had lots of companies come and give my quotes. All the companies wanted to replace my whole deck. I told Matt I could not afford to have it replaced. He said let's try to repair it first and see how it goes. I am so happy with Matt's work. He a very thoughtful and respectful. I have a lot more repairs I need done. I will only be calling him from now on. I recommend him so highly.

Did absolutely NOTHING right (except hang a picture); had to take apart and put back together a bed/headboard (b/c he let his wife do it!..yes, his wife and little girl were both there too). We gave him benefit of the doubt and let him come back to change out some electrical outlets. He messed EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM up, and left multiple outlets with loose wires (FIRE HAZARD). I had to hire electricians to come fix literally everything he touched...they were shocked at his lack of competence. Do NOT pay him one penny until the job is done to your satisfaction...b/c he will not refund your money. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
Description of Work: Fix a door that wouldn't latch, hang a painting, put a bed together. 2nd time was replace about 30 electrical outlights/light switches.

Response from C&M HOME REPAIR SERVICE
C&M Home Repair is a FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS. The first visit to the customers house was for the assembly of a bed, hanging a painting, and repair a door latch was completed and payment received, we returned (2nd time) to customers house to find that he didn’t have all of the proper materials for job requested (electrical). We did the job with the materials that were provided by the customer at their request. With the lack of materials, we were not able to complete the job fully. So, We put customer on our schedule to complete the electrical job because of lack of materials. We collected a partial (deposit) payment for electrical job and explained that remainder of invoice would be due at the time of completion (3rd scheduled visit). Customer said that he was satisfied with what had been completed during first and second trip and didn’t say anything about any errors with bed. Customer was purchasing the remainder of materials and would provide them before 3rd scheduled appointment. Once customer called in with a complaint, A partial refund was offered to customer due to job not being complete since only partial payment was received. We asked customer to give a fair amount for refund total and we would circle back.
