It went well. He was a very nice young man, he was here on the dot. They charged me $65 an hour. He was very knowledgable and worked the entire time he was here. They did offer a senior citizen discount on the site, but the technician said they do not give discounts to senior citizens.
Description of Work: They set up a new computer and transferred my old data to the new one.

My computer would not start up. I called, took it down (it is a desk top model), as I thought may be a power supply. They quoted me $50.00 per hour diagnostics, plus parts. It took a couple of days and they called me back. Went down, paid for a power supply and a new fan. They had to reload windows, and everything that was needed to work. They had done a back up of my computer (at my request), so it was all there, except a couple of my programs I would need to re-install. They assured me everything was there that I would need for re-installation of my Quick Books. When I tried to re-install Quick books, kept getting errors. Was told to bring it back, and they would look at it. They looked at it while I was there, but was told there would be some more diagnostics and they would let me know of any additional costs. Was called I was told that a new disc drive was necessary, and there was an additional hour of diagnostics. I would have assumed that when they ran the first Diagnostics, they would have seen the Disc Drive did not work. They loaded my Quick Books for me (they had evidently missed some items that needed to be installed for Quick Books to run and they installed those). On the whole, they did a good job, and I will probably use them again if I ever need work done.. It is just hard for me, since it is a desk top, to have to take in to shop a couple of time.

I took my laptop in on a Monday. I was told there would be a $50 diagnostic fee. On Tuesday, they called me and told me what the problem was and what the cost would be. I approved and Wednesday morning they called and told me my computer was ready. They removed the $50 fee I paid earlier from the total cost. I was told that my computer was indeed infected with numerous viruses. They also asked if I wanted a anitvirus program put on my computer. I knew that I could purchase one for less money on the internet, however, I wanted one placed on my computer immediately so I told them to put one on my computer. The total cost included the $69.95 charge for the Norton Antivirus. My laptop works perfectly now and I think the cost was appropriate. I also liked the speed in which my computer was repaired. It was a lot faster than Best Buy. I will use the Computer Crew again if needed. It should be noted that this business is on Glenwood Street, not Airport Blvd.. It is just off of Airport, but on Glenwood.
Description of Work: I took my Dell laptop in for repairing. The cursor would not work and I suspected my computer was infected with a virus.
