Description of Work: I got an estimate from Macic to repair and upgrade the home security system and I am currently using them. They are installing the equipment and will provide the monitoring service.

Description of Work: Installed surround sound throughout house, including porches. Set up wireless remote for surround system.

Description of Work: Matt Alford of Macic, Inc. did an excellent job of rewiring my house for stereo. He placed stereo speakers in the ceiling of my kitchen and the back porch. He created a new Directv connection in my living room and set up a control center there to operate the new speakers in the porch and kitchen, as well as, my old Bose system in the living room. He added a digital TV and FM antenna in the attic and connected it to the living room. He added speaker jacks in the upstairs playroom for a different stereo and ran a connection to my living room "control center" so that I could feed all of the speakers from the upstairs stereo, if desired. So, in the living room now, I can choose Directv, TV antenna, CD's, FM (or AM) radio, or even play old LP's on my phonograph upstairs.

Description of Work: I only received an estimate to redo a surround system that was not well done. The price was fair for the amount of work to be done. He has tremendous knowledge in is field and had very creative solutions to problems with an already installed system that does not work correctly. He has a professional attitude. The work has not been done yet but he will be the one to do the job.

Description of Work: There was no answer to the online link. Their phone has been disconnected. They seem to be out of business but left their web page up anyway. Very frustrating and sad.

Description of Work: Matt performed a custom install of a basic home theater setup, which included mounting a 50" plasma on an interior wall, and installing provisions for a 5.1 surround speaker system in an open concept living room.
