He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He also gave me advice on how to change out our kitchen sink faucets. He tried to save us money which I liked. He tried to help me get the parts for free, but that did not work out very well. He did not provide me a quote. He said he?d first look at the work and then provide me with a quote. When he looked at the work he found out that it was very simple. He went ahead and fixed it. He charged me a little bit more than what he would?ve charged for a service call. We had problems getting parts, and once we got the parts they didn?t work.

John calls me all the time, just to keep me abreast of things. He communicates with his clients on a regular basis. He never leaves you guessing about what is happening. I have already used one of his referrals for electrical work. This fellow kept costs low, work was superb, and he was very personable. I will continue to ask John to help me with various services and recommendations of professionals. John is very professional, talented, honest (above all honest!) I will highly recommend him to my friends and family. He has become a very good friend, and I trust everything he says.

I have recently purchased a new home with a "bad" odor. I kept describing it as a "sewer smell". The minute, John came in, he smelled it. He explored and explained it as coming from the plumbing associated with my washing machine. When he took the sheetrock out, he found a vent that should have been vented up to the roof, Instead the previous "plumber" had just left it open. So the methane gases were vented into my walls. He also found that under the house, the PVC pipe was not connected properly to the metal pipe, and I had a leak associated with the washing machine. I was given a quote prior to any work being done. He explains everything in detail. And you can tell he tries to keep costs at a minimum.

John Thornton, Master Plumber, has provided service on at least three occasions (per above) - probably even one or two more that I'm forgetting about. He always provides a reasonable time frame and estimate, and shows up responsibly. He is pleasant and clean. My dogs love him and he is very sweet to them. I wouldn't even think of calling a different plumber unless he leaves town. He seems very ethical and honest, and all of his work has been excellent. I recommend him highly.
