Description of Work: He replaced my wrough iron columns on the front porch and added 2 handrails on the steps. He was to put a good primer coat of paint and a good rust proof top coat of paint. He looked over the job in July of 2011, gave me a qoute of $1,200.00 to do the job. I gave him acheck for $600.00 to get started. He returned [ after I called him several times ] in October with the post and a special welder that he had been waiting for to do the job. I am a retired welder and this man knew nothing about welding. they put a primer coat of paint on that they bought from a $ 1.00 store. I told him that the welding was horriable and that we had agreed on rust-oleum for a primer and the work was not acceptable. He agreed and redid it with a different welder and good paint at his expense. the job was finally finished on Dec. 1st. 2011. Four months after he started.
