The sale was OK and the carpet good. However, there was a misrepresentation by the salesperson. We thought we were getting an installed price for the carpet, only to be hit with a bill from the installer at the time of installation. At no time were we told the installation was separate. I have bought carpet several times in the past and installation is always included in the purchase price and paid to the store. Also, I worked as an insurance adjuster for 15 years and never wrote an estimate for carpet that did not include installation in the price. When Floor Trader was called the answer they gave was "it was on one of the forms" (apparently in fine print). I would not use Floor Trader again as this was clearly a way to low ball the price so you think they are giving the best deal.
