Description of Work: We purchased and installed laminate flooring for three bedrooms, dining room, living room and hallway. The installer was a subcontractor for Floor Trader who did excellent work. The flooring looks far more expensive than it was, very warm and realistic. We are very happy with this purchase and with the help given by Floor Trader.

+ 0 moreThe sales and service were great at The Floor Traders but the motivation for posting this review is the installer. Terry Tuberville had just installed tile for a family member so he came highly recommended. And after my job was complete, I recommended him to a co-worker. All 3 jobs were done exquisitely and Terry is such a pleasure to work with. I've had many contractors work on jobs in or around my house but Terry is the first that I would've felt completely comfortable leaving him in my home alone. We really enjoyed having him around. He is not the fastest so if you are in a hurry, I wouldn't choose him. But if you want someone who is friendly, honest, meticulous, hard-working and highly skilled, Terry is your guy. I gave him a complicated custom pattern and he NEVER once made me feel bad about it. He was happy to do the job. Ask for Terry and you won't be disappointed. Also, The Floor Trader buys in bulk so whatever they have in stock is going to be cheaper than special orders. But if you shop around, you will find their special order price isn't too far off from other stores. And if you have to, do like I did and negotiate.
Description of Work: 20" Ceramic tile laid in a custom pattern for living room, foyer, linen closet and small hallway. I can't remember how much we paid but I did my research and knew the going rate and I didn't pay more. In fact, I actually found what I wanted at a different store and asked them to match the price and they did.

+ -1 moreFloor Trader and Larry Holland did a great job for me. Lee Ann Havard at Floor Trader was very professional and helpful, she was the one who recommended the installer. Larry and his assistant, Eric did everything that they promised in record time, I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I am updating a 1950's bathroom. I needed a new ceramic tile floor. I was told that it could be installed over the existing ceramic floor. To have the old floor removed would have been expensive, dirty and and time consuming. I was skkeptical but decided to proceed, with good results.
