green to clean and regular maintenance
Description of Work: Fantastic work!!! All around great company. They took our pool from gross and green to clean and ready to swim. Mike was amazing. Also the regular maintenance is super. Customer service is great - answered all my questions and is very helpful. I definitely recommend this company. We are very glad we chose to go with them.

DO NOT USE ASP- Swimming Pool Company out of Mobile!! Horrible Customer Service and their owner Melissa Crow does not care. She has no clue as to what her company is doing. Had an issue with my pool pressure being too high and my pump was loud and not priming correctly (likely need a new pump- I know this- but was mainly concerned about the high pressure readings), their tech comes to my house, looks at my setup and leaves. Does nothing and does not call me and tell me anything. This was last Thursday. On Friday, I call to find out what was the issue and was told the tech didn't fill out a ticket on my service call and she is unavailable, but they will contact someone that might know what she found and call me back. After waiting for 3 hours, I called back and spoke with the office manager Rob. He informs me that the tech is out and at the Drs office and that he has been trying to get the tech to tell him what she found as well as updates to two other tickets. He stated he would call me back and get this corrected. I received no phone call and found out on Sat that they are closed until TUESDAY. Needless to say, my Memorial Day Swimming Pool activities were shot and not going to happen. Today, I received a call from the tech early this morning who stated that she has a new pump and that she can install this morning. I asked that is fine, but what about the pressure? She said she didn't know and that it was likely my filter as she stated when I talked to her at my house upon her arrival. I asked did you verify? did you check and see if it was a partial clog? How could it be the filter when they were less than a year old and I had cleaned them twice? She stated that she can come over and remove the filters, run it , then replace the pressure gauge and run it. This should let us know what is the problem. I asked why this wasn't done on Thursday- no straight answer. I told the tech I wanted to talk to Rob first. Spoke to Rob about my extreme disappointment with him and ASP, he apologized for the issue and not calling me back and asked what he could do to fix the situation. He offered to come to my house and vac my pool since I was unable due to the high pressure (he agreed it was too high on Friday as well as today). However, Melissa calls me about an hour or so later and states my pressure reading isn't high and it’s not a problem-yet my gauge on the pump is reading high, ASPs office manager Rob and ASPs pool tech both agreed it was high and it’s a problem, not to mention 2 other pool techs said it was high. She also informs me that she doesn’t want to send her tech out to the pool to check my gauge or see why the pressure is high and that I should find some other company.

Ongoing issue with owner.
Description of Work: Pool leaking. Tech quoted price for looking, removing pool light, removing putty, reputty. Found leak in liner without removing light, patched. Next day, still leaking. Came out, removed light ring, told me it broke and had to be replaced. Told me now price has doubled. Took old part, refused to show me receipt. Owner Melissa Crow says the double price was for installation. Light was already out of niche. Now telling at me on telephone and sent threatening email to come remove part if I didn't pay yesterday. Would NEVER recommend this company to anyone due to owners unprofessionalism......

Description of Work: Weekly pool service. Out of six visits there were constant issues. They left my hose on in the pool twice. They left my pool backwash on and depleted the water until we got home hours later. They left the pool fil thy one day. The gate was left open. Constant problems and constant lies and excuses. Stay away.

Description of Work: They figured out what was wrong with my pool, they cleaned it got the alga out of pool. Pool had bad part that was bad was under warranty, they were not on the list of approve dealers so Modern pool put the part in. They came back on the 20th and cleaned the pool it looks great.

There was nothing to go as the company never contacted me.
Description of Work: I contacted the company as I needed to have my inground swimming pool cleaned. I also needed to check into a service contract to have my pool cleaned and maintained as I have my house on the market . I left a message for this company to contact me as I only received the answer machine. I left my name and telephone # for a return call. I never received a call from this company. I had to put a date in the review but there was never a date involved as the company never called back.
