I would certainly recommend this company to people. They were excellent.

They were excellent. I appreciated that they were prompt, they were professional. Looking on Angie’s List there were some things on there that was written about this particular business and they were dead on. I was very, very satisfied with the promptness, the amount that was quoted and the service that was done. They cleaned up afterwards. On price they were dead on. I actually shopped another provider and they were competitive. I would use them again.

Very satisfied with the quality of work, professionalism and friendliness. Even though this took three days to resolve, they ensured the neccessaries were available overnight. They have always been very responsive, professional and trustworthy.

Their prices were too high.

UPDATE 9/23: Ron Moody (the owner) called after seeing my review on Angie's List. He said that company policy is to always lay out the full charges before performing service, and he apologized for the misunderstanding and wanted to make it right. He agreed to refund the trip charge and to apply their senior citizen discount that the serviceman overlooked to the final bill. I have updated my ratings to reflect the updated story. ---- Original Review Below ---- My sink on the garbage disposal side was leaking. I called several plumbing companies early in the day, and Advanced Plumbing was the first company I found that was able to perform a same-day service call. The service man arrived and said that my garbage disposal was bad. I asked what it would cost to replace it. He went out to his truck and came back with a $329 quote. I thought it was a little steep, but I needed the work done. I agreed. He left to get/buy a disposal exactly like the old one he was going to replace. After about 20-30 minutes, he came into the house with a new disposal--still in the box. He installed the disposal within 30 minutes. Then he went out to his truck to write up my ticket. While he was gone, I wrote my check for $329.00. When he came back from the truck, he told me that he was sorry, but the quote he had given me did not include the $59 trip charge. I said I thought that would have been included in the repair quote. He apologized, but he was still looking for the additional $59. Had I know I was going to be out a total of $388 for a garbage disposal, I might have waited and explored other alternatives. When he left, I checked on-line to discover that my disposal costs around $100 without a contractor discount. Then to make me even sicker, another plumber called to return a call I had made to him earlier in the day. I told him that I had another company do the work. I asked him, by the way, how much he charges to install garbage disposals. To my dismay, he said that if I had the disposal at the house, he would have charged around $85. This other plumber has been highly rated by other Angie's list consumers so I am fairly certain he would have done a good job for me. In summary, if you don't want to wait and shop price, and if you have a pocket full of money, be sure to get in touch with Advanced Plumbing.

They came out right away, and gave me a quote. They were very professional. I haven't had any work done form them. I would recommend them highly. They were very prompt, and were very courteous. I will be using them in the future.

Tony did an excellent job. He checked and fixed all we asked of him.

The serviceman returned my call quickly and set up an appointment within a day to assess the job. Once the price was agreed upon they returned within 2 days and completed the work. He also installed a valve to be able to turn the gas flow from the meter should a similar problem arise in the future. This was not discussed in the initial job assessment but ultimately was included in the price for the work. The serviceman also checked for additional gas leaks, made sure my gas water heater and gas central heat were working correctly. He also told me of a potential problem with my water heater.
