TERRY'S HOME REPAIR

They were timely and reasonably priced. They did a good job and we would recommend them. We had contacted another handyman first but we got frustrated with them not keeping their appointment. He did everything he was supposed to do in a reasonable and timely manner. The quality was very good. He was very responsive. We would absolutely use them again.

What a nightmare! "Terry" (has 3 different names???... Terry, Rodney, Edward Ivie) and his helper arrived and quoted me a price of $600 + the cost of paint to repair 3 holes in the drywall and paint 2 average size bedrooms. On the 4th day my husband fired them. I have never seen such a sloppy job in my life! 1) 2 of their drywall repairs caved in. 2) They used an electric sander and didn't close the door so my entire house was covered with a thick layer of dust. What a mess. 3) They only applied one coat of paint when 2 was needed. I had to make them come back and do a second coat. And still they missed spots. I could still see the original color. We used good paint too... Duration. 4) They didn't paint the inside wall of either closet. 5) They painted the floor trim only... not the window and door trim. They hit the ceiling with the roller a lot and just left it. 6) There was a lot of trash in the paint and instead of straining the paint they just brushed the trash onto the walls. 7) They were late, showed up without their supplies once, left to get more supplies and left my husband at the house wasting a day off work waiting for them to come back. After 3 hours he called and told them not to come back. 8) Demanded to be paid in full before the job was complete when I was there without my husband. Charged $200.00 more than they quoted. I was afraid of the guy so I paid him just to get him to leave. My husband and I had to completely re-do the entire job ourselves. We worked on it for 2 weeks a little here and there after work each night. We just wanted them to be nicely done before our son came home from the Navy for a visit.
