About half the time they came, they found something to replace. I had lighting strike my house and the unit stopped working. They tried to sell me a contract on the unit that was not working and then billed me for it. They did refund those charges after I spoke to them. Their pricing seemed fair over the years, but that instance seemed unethical. I had another company replace the unit. Overall, I am not happy with them and have ended services with them.

They are very good. It was a free inspection. I have used them before and I have been using them for 3 years. They actually installed the system. They are very responsive.

We like them. They come and do the service and keep us abreast of what’s going on with our unit. The maintenance plan is $12/month. They don’t try to sell you a bunch of stuff. They do try to keep you well informed of what’s out there, but they don’t pressure you.

They do a good job. I pay about $11/month for the service package.

The work is superior, but the monthly fee is a lot. They have only been here twice and nothing was wrong. If you have an investment you want to protect it, but I feel the preventative cost of $12/month is high because in 10 months that's $170. The preventative care will depend on the individual circumstances. Overall, they are trustworthy and do good work though. I would suggest they provide the customer with air conditioner covers.

replaced compressor and repaired duct work

Installed new Lenox solar HVAC unit. It went very well and all the permits were run. The city inspector was called to approve the installation. The only problem was an issue with Alabama Power that took a year to resolve, but the AirNow folks continued to work the issue no matter how many times Alabama Power asked for the exact same documents.

Repaired non functioning heat pump by replacing failed parts; responded immediately and repairs were made promptly.

They were ok to work with. The system works but makes a lot of noise which I do not like. They sent two men to do about a four man job. They worked till about 8:30 at night to complete the job. I felt they skimped on things in order to get it done in one day. I was not happy that they left the duct work lying on the ground that they installed underneath the house. They sent the men back out who did not do anything about it. I am not sure if I would ever use their service again because they did not resolve my complaint.

They provide a fine service. We have been using them for over two years. They are always on time for the appointment and they are affordable. All of the technicians are very nice and they always put little booties on when they come into the house.

They did the work that was promised in the deal. They left a list of things that needed to be fixed which was over $1000 of work. When I called my home warranty company to check out the services AirNow told me I needed done they indicated they were not necessary now.

They are good to work with and we have been impressed with their service. We have a long term service contract with them which works well. If we need them to come out they typically come within 24 hours. One time we had an issue with the unit and they were out within a few hours to fix the issue. Their prices are competitive.

I have been using their services for about a year and a half since they installed my second unit. I like that I do not hear from them unless I need them. When I call they are always able to come out when it is convenient for me. They are very clean and even put booties on over their shoes.

Super service as always. Darryl, my regular service tech, was in the offcie when I called in the problem and spoke to me to be sure he understood the problem and would be able to repair it right away. He determined I have a leak in a part rthat is under warranty. Took down all the information, and will handle the warranty claim for me, even though this was installed by another HVAC vendor. Not sure I could ask for much more!!

It did not go well. I kept trying to get him to give me a quote on what I had requested but he seemed intent on selling other services. He finally left before I had to ask him to leave. There are a lot of better HVAC providers out there. I called the main office and complained, the gentleman was polite but I would not have them back for anything.

I responded to an advertised special from Air Now in Millbrook, AL called the Big Deal. The technician came out and checked out the air conditioner, as agreed, but was unaware that the special included checking the ducts. However, he readily checked the ducts when I mentioned it, without extra cost. He found nothing wrong, which I anticipated because the unit was relatively new. While there, he sold me an agreement at approximately $16/month by which Air Now would come out once a year to check the A/C unit. A year later, Air Now called and made an appointment for the annual check. The technician performed the check and told me the unit needed $500 in repairs. This seemed unusual because the unit was operating just fine. I declined the repairs and called another company to check the A/C. The other company found nothing wrong. I called Air Now and cancelled my contract and will not deal with them again.

Tim Wright was an excellent technician who performed superb service. He was very professional, best service I have had in decades of home ownership.

I have used this company twice a year for the past 4 years. Well worth every penny.

They put a new duct in our laundry room however it did not seem to help cool down my daughter's bedroom so we called them to come back and they ended up putting a small duct in our daughter's room. They didn't even charge us for this service as they could have done it during the initial visit. The team that came were professional and on time and explained what they were doing before, during and after the work was done.

My wife and myself are both in our sixties and suffer from numerous medical problems. When on a Sunday our Air Condtioning unit was not coming on to cool the home (only the blower was working) I contacted Airnow via telephone, the young lady I talked with was very courteous and informed me it would be approx fort-five minutes to an hour before she would be able to have a technion out to my home. It took the serviceman only thrity minutes to arrive. He was very courtious and knowledgeable., he found the problem and showed the findings to me and then and only then gave me the price of the repair. He cleaned the unit which was completely dirty with dirt and grass clogging the Intake coils of the unit., checked the the level of cooling agent and all connections for leaks. After he had fininshed we were showed how to avoid the problems in the future. The amount that was charged was far BELOW what we had expected. Yes we would recommend Airnow to any and all who may need them.

I chose AirNow because they seemed more qualified to do the job. I didn't check around for different prices. I thought their price was good.

While my husband and I were on a cruise and my mother was at our house keeping the kids the A/C unit went out. She called AirNow to come out and look at it. After the guy got there and looked at it he said it needed a new motor. He happened to have one on his truck and replaced it that day. A week after my husband and I got back the unit stopped working again. We called AirNow to come back out and look at it since it was still under warranty. One thing we had noticed as well was that when the technician replaced the motor he left wires sticking out of the unit that were exposed to the outside elements. Also, when he had put the casing back on he had done a horrible job and almost forced some of the bolts back in and they were screwed in at an angle. The same guy came out that had put the unit in. When he arrived he looked at it and gave me some explanation that was beyond my understanding as to the reason it had stopped. Something to do with the blades turning the wrong way? I pointed out the wires sticking out and asked him why that was done and explained that my husband (he was working at the time) was very unhappy with it and had he been there when the installation was done he would have said something then. He again gave me some "reason" but did go get something and tie them down. We also noticed there was a crack in the casing and also that the unit had been shaking terribly. I asked him about this and asked if this could be a problem. He said yes that it would eventually cracked all the way. He offered no solution whatsoever. I kept having to press him to get any kind of answers or even suggestions. I asked him how much a new casing would cost and he said he would find out. He got on the phone then but the next thing I knew he said he was leaving. He didn't tell me anything else about the cost of the casing or when I might know. Although we couldn't prove it we believe the casing was cracked when he did the shoddy job of installing the new motor. Days went by and we received no call about a replacement casing. We had to call back and when we did we were told no one had been asked or told about a new casing and they would get back to us. They never did. We had to call back a 3rd time. By this time we were fed up and very unhappy about the lack of service we were receiving. I took several pictures of the unit and the terrible job that was done. I sent a certified complaint letter, along with the pictures, to the owner. Upon receipt he did call. However, he denied any problems with the service and couldn't understand why we weren't happy. He never apologized and in fact said he saw no reason that there was bad customer service. Mind you we still had not resolved the issue with the casing. He offered to have someone come out when the new case (which was going to cost an addtional $150) came in and install it free of service charge. We explained that we would NEVER use them again and to not even order the new case because we had rigged it up ourselves to help solve the problem. A couple weeks later they called and left a message saying our new case was in. They had ordered the case even though we told the owner himself we didn't want it. We did not have them install it. This company is absolutely horrible. In talking with other people I have also heard similar stories and more often get bad comments than anything good. In addition, their prices are twice what other companies charge. If you want crappy customer service and want to pay more than you should then feel free to call this company. Otherwise I would stay very far away!!!
