First off, they have different answers for different potential buyers. EVERYONE has an excuse for something. The landscape and excavation is god awful. Trees and plants are die throughout the neighborhood. Lack of knowledge and a basic "Don't care" attitude with their workers. Sales people will contact after the closing hoping for a good review but if you state the issues they ghost you. Warning to Byers - have EVERYTHING written down. Even the smallest of detail. If not excuses will be used to back them up. READ the contract since it overs them and very little for the buyer. They really don't have pride in their work. After closing you are nothing to them. Trust me on this.........dfdd

I had to do several last walk-thrus to have all the deficiencies corrected. The plumbing was incorrectly placed creating an eyesore on a pantry wall. The fireplace mantle is constructed fron MDF board not providing a smooth finish. The landscaping is a joke as it will all need to be redone come Spring. And after submitting the two month move in warranty deficiencies I'm told the following aren't covered. A garage door that doesn't close unless you physically stand there and hold the button until the garage door is completely closed (it's fabulous backing out, closing the garage door and the going through the house to exit out the front door to get back in your car). Why do I have a garage? A tankless water heater installed on the EXTERIOR of the house that when it goes below freezing you only have cold water. Why wouldn't you install it inside the garage?? The fantastic workmanship of the person that installed the outside patio fan that failed to screw on one of the fan blades that flew off breaking the light globe. I'm just glad no one was outside while the fan blade was soaring through the air. I think I do better DIY home projects than that! Yes, thank you Valor Communities for not only having hassles during the building process but providing some ******** warranty on top of everything.

Valor Communities worked well with me. Some of the things that probably should have stood out a little bit more and I had to find out later on some of the things weren't included.
