They did a very good job in lawn care service there were no pop up weeds for awhile .They were good people and the pricing was competitive.

I've been a TDI customer for 4 months now, after having used and been unhappy with Judi's Lawn Care for over 6 years. I am happy I made the switch, as their pricing is comparable to Judi's, and I can see improvements in my lawn - fewer weeds and a thicker looking lawn in several problem areas.

After 2 weeks there is a lot of new grass!

Great. They're always quick and courteous, and their treatments work even though I started late in the cycle.

Turf doctor rep came to my home and spent time examining my problem shady lawn. Said they could not help me! Recommended changing my lawn to moss! Really appreciated the honest answers. If I move, I will use them.

It looks a lot better than my neighbors that don't get treated but they still don't kill every weed. They could improve a little bit but overall pretty good. Their very punctual they call me to make appointment and they come right when they say they'll be there and again I don't need to be there but they always set up a time and their very punctual, very professional and for what they do and the amount of land that they do I think their prices is reasonable.

This is the second review I have written as you did not print the first one. Now most of the leaves on my tree are in my front yard. When are you going to print my complaint????

We had a different lawn company for many years, but our bermuda grass was getting worse every year. I decided to try TDI because they do the pretty yards on our street. Now our grass looks pretty. It is amazing how green the grass is, and it is growing and filling in all the bare spots.

They are not only reasonably priced but use nothing but natural products to make our lawn look beautiful. All the people who we have encountered are friendly and helpful, they made sure we understand everything we need to know to keep our lawn healthy!!!

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He did not use "strong arm" tactics but rather gave professional advice and opinions. We signed up for service but with Turf Doctor you are not on a committed contract so that is a real plus. We will have to see how it turns out as we have just begun using this service but we selected Turf Doctor based on this technician and also that we have seen outstanding results from this company on two houses in our neighborhood.

We are in our third year of service with Turf Doctor and are completely satisfied. We have a Bermuda grass lawn. They offer a good discount for annual payment.

Just before every application, our technician calls to confirm the appointment. He arrives and is professional, efficient, but unhurried. If he sees something that needs more work, he handles it right then. They do not wait for me to complain, they are proactive and let me know something has to be done and that they will be coming back in a week or so to check and retreat. We have been very pleased with their service and it all comes down to technicians who care about doing good work.

Have used Turf Doctors for about 4 season. They do a customized schedule for me, as I want a good lawn but I don't need a golf course-like yard. The bermuda grass is hardy, but weeds sprout out, well, like weeds! They do pre-emergents that take care of most of the weed issues. They also spray my bushes for white flies and the like. Bushes were almost dying when we moved in, and they have improved greatly. They also fertilize, but not as often as on their usual contract. We like it because we only have to mow every other week, and neighbors' lawns, which might be a little greener, have to mow much more often. They always call before they do a treatment, which is helpful as I have a dog. They were also very responsive last year when it seemed they missed fertilizing a strip of lawn. Whatever they put down was amazing, because the grass went crazy, but this one strip did not. It was actually pretty small, so I asked if they could just bring a little fertilizer (a couple cups full) and I'd take care of it myself. Well, they brought half a large bag the next day! If you get their complete contract, they will come out anytime for just about anything, but with my contract, they would charge if I needed something extra. But they did not charge me anything for bringing by the bag of fertilizer. We've been happy with the service.

We had used Turf Doctor at our other home before we moved, so when we had a problem at our new house, we called them immediately. They responded promptly by coming out first to diagnose the problem and then returned within just a few days to place pesticide on the grass to kill the army worms. They also treated the yard for weeds and fertilized it. Although they told us that the bermuda grass may not totally recover this year, we already have beautiful green grass where all the dead grass once was. They are so nice to deal with and stand behind whatever they do.

We were so blessed to find Kevin Bryant with Turf Doctor as he knows all about growing a high brix organic garden! He is one of the few people in the state of Alabama who is knowledgeable on this special type of gardening, and this was an answer to prayer in finding someone more locally who could provide the products instead of having them shipped from up north which becomes quite costly. He was very nice to us in giving us samples to try and has been very helpful in giving us advice on how to grow a healthy lawn and garden naturally instead of with harsh chemicals. We look forward to growing some wonderful high brix organic fruits and vegetables this year.

Always prompt and professional. Calls and confirms appointments the day before as promised. Lawn looks the best ever. We have tried 3 other providers, Superior, Lawn Doctor and TruGreen (what a nightmare!) and Turf Doctor is the best, hands down.

Overall service has been good with Turf Doctor. The initial salesman was friendly and answered all my questions, including in follow-up telephone calls. Our front yard was in very bad shape. When we started the monthly program along with re-seeding the front yard, both the sales person and the crew re-seeding the yard said we wouldn't see the final/good results until the following year for several reasons, including the late season we were re-seeding in and the fact we were changing to a different grass type that would do better with the yard type, shaded areas, etc. They assured me it would look much better the following season/year. I did my part and followed their instructions on watering the yard often. The good news is it is now a year later, and the front yard looks good. The new grass type seems to be working well. Our neighbor uses TruGreen and their yard doesn't look like it is doing very well in comparison. The cost listed in the review is for a year's worth of weed/fertilizer service plus one time re-seeding.

The company has nothing wrong with it. The staff are friendly and professional. They are prompt and caring the guys that sprayed our yard even took the time to pick up the dog toys left in the yard. The staff again is great. The chemicals they use are reportedly natural or so I have been told, or at least some sort of environmentally safe. We have two dogs and they have never shown any issues with the chemicals. My complaint is I have one of the worse looking yards in the neighborhood. To be fair, my yard when we moved in was not anything to brag about. I had to use some off the shelf spray to catch up on the weeds, when their chemical just was not enough. I Just wish they had a better product.I have had to retreat. When you leave a note they tend to make excuses. I remarked that their chemical had failed to kill crab grass last year, they said we called to late in the season. When I called this year with nutshedge, they said they would get it later in the season. So that being said, I have had to fertilize behind them, I have had to spray behind them. None of it is cheap, but doing it twice is not cost effective either.

Signed up for a years worth of service after numerous phonecalls. Service was fair, but had to make numerous calls to get them to treat the weeds, spray along fence line, etc. Woman on phone was very unprofessional and liked to argue. Disappointing performance after many promises that were made by salesperson.

Used them to overseed and fertilize the lawn. They did not treat an invasive vine issue that we were having although we mentioned it to them several times. They also came out and treated our lawn when there were many leaves on the ground. Since I can rake one day and two days later there are leaves again, I could have avoided this issue by knowing when they were coming. Alternatively, I really think they could have delayed treatment when they showed up and saw that my lawn needed raking.. I called about the issue after it happened twice and they said I could schedule re-treatement but I have not been impressed so I cancelled service. They still billed me to treat my leaves and threatened to turn my account over to a collection agency if I did not pay.

If we notice a problem in the yard, you just give them a phone call, and they come out right away at no extra charge (weeds, bugs, etc). They also do termite and pest control. We enjoy the convenience of their service, as we have never had any issues with them.

Front yard does not look bad, but back yard has gotten wrose the 2 years I have used them. I have more weeds than grass in the back now. It looks like they are not paying attention to what the backyard looks like, yet I pay them for the whole yard.

Turf Doctor does our lawn fertilizing. I use Turf doctor because they use more natural stuff and no dye. I have white dogs, so it would be all over their feet. They use natural things, natural fertilizers over chemicals. It is safer for the dogs to be in the yard afterwards. We really like them.

I chose them because of price; they were less than TruGreen. I canceled their service because I had issues and asked them to come out and I never heard from them again except when I got the next bill. I asked them if they ever came back out and was told, yes, so I asked them why someone did not knock on my door? They never had a schedule; they just showed up because I did not have to be here when they treated the yard. I called them because they were not killing the weeds and the lady I spoke with on the phone was very unprofessional. I will not use them again in the future.
