Very well! I have used the same lady for 2 years. I feel comfortable leaving if I need to do so. I am 85 and really need help. Michele is my helper.

Very pleased with the services provided by Michele. She is great to work with and our dog looks forward to Michele- day as much as I do. She does a nice job on all the details.

I was skeptical at first, thinking there was no way anyone could come in an clean my home to my standards but I was VERY surprised. When I got home I was delighted at how amazing leigh made my home look. She did a fantastic job an I will definately be having her back

Leigh Haas was absolutely amazing. She exceeded every expectation I had of her coming to clean. It was truly awesome to come home after her cleaning. The house was spotless and smelled even better. Will definitely be having her back.

Our housekeeper Ashley did a beautiful job . The house sparkled like never before. Ashley was so thorough she moved everything to dust and clean. I would definitely recommend The Housekeepers to anyone needing a house cleaning.

BAD EXPERIENCE - I was set up and scheduled for them to start yesterday (7/28/2016) at 8:30am. At a little after 8:30, I received a call from the office that the HK was at the auto repair shop and would be leaving there in 10 minutes, getting to my house closer to 9am. I accepted that and waited...and waited...and waited...no call no HK. At 10:09 the office called and said she would be leaving auto shop soon. When I explained that timeline would not work for me, the staff person was very abrupt, so I asked to speak to the owner, Steve Rigdon, before rescheduling. I was looking for reassurance that this was unusual. I understand unforeseen circumstances, but not a lack of communication and borderline rudeness. I called several times today but my call went to voice mail each time, and no return call. When I finally tracked down Mrs Rigdon on a number I found online, she thought I was unreasonable for making the request. She was quite rude on the phone, and sarcastically said she was sorry I couldn't understand that sometimes things happen. At that point I nicely asked her if she realized first, that was the first time anyone said they were sorry, and second that was all it would have taken on the phone yesterday for me to reschedule. When her husband came to my home and gave me a quote, he seemed genuine and talked about how dedicated they are to excellent service, and I believed him. Based on other reviews I've since read on here today, I should have done my homework on Angie's List before hiring them. I, too, experienced the lack of response and having to call myself to get scheduled even though Steve told me his wife or the office person would call me the next day to set up services. This has been an extremely frustrating experience and I wouldn't want others to be subjected to a similar situation.

We had a strange experience with them. When we tried to schedule them, they were unable to schedule and were kind of rude to us. They never came in and cleaned our house. Just working with them wasn't very pleasant after the first experience. After they gave us a quote, they never scheduled us. We had to chase them to try to get a schedule. We called and they said that they didn't have an opening for me. They promised to get back to us but they didn't. We called them back and they didn't call us back. We repeatedly called them. They were very rude to us and they said, "Please don't call us again." Their pricing was good. Responsiveness was pretty bad.

We've used The Housekeepers on and off over the last 3 years. We actually stopped and went back to them and it all depends on the housekeeper you get. When we resumed our service in the sping of 2014, we went through four of thier employees before finding the right housekeeper for us. The first did a good job but moved away. The second housekeeper they sent was adequate at best - the bathrooms were still dirty, nothing had been picked up, the bed wasn't made. Honestly, it felt like the housekeeper worked while i was there and stopped and went home as soon as i ledt. I callwd the office and emailed pictures and they quickly replaced her and sent someone else out to re-clean everything the next day. The 3rd housekeeper was only okay... you could tell that she had cleaned but it wasn't stellar or anything and (this drove me insane) she never made the bed. Eventually I called asked for a new person and they sent me the housekeeper we are stil using. The first time she cleaned our house she called the office and complained about the previous housekeeper and spent way more time on our house than the 4 hours she had planned. It may take a while, but they do have some great employees. I can't complain about the turnover because I can't imagine most ladies want to do this for the rest of thier lives. Also, while the short office hours of 8 to 2 are not super convenient, they have been extremely accommodating and have always worked around my schedule when they could. The price for our 3 bed/2 bath is $95 every 4 weeks $85 every 2 weeks $75 every week We have actually just changed our service this month to bi-weekly since they are doing such a great job.

The office personnel never returned the calls for atleast 2-3 days. Their excuse was we called your phone several times but was unable to reach you. Always was a problem with schedule. They are not flexible. They always wanted me to adjust to their schedule. Not one time adjusted to mine. It was different HK each time. One of the HK's always put her cleaning bucket on the chairs/kitchen and bathroom counters/bed/couch. Too lazy to bend down to put it on the floor. she made me freaking mad. The cobwebs were never cleaned. When i first hired them, the owner said it was thorough cleaning. But the HK never got the cobwebs/ did not move anything in her way. She swept/mopped around it. The most recent cleaning the HK came in late and did a crappy job and left without finishing her job.But my credit card was charged in full. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Difficult to plan around when the bi-weekly cleaning would take place. Different employees were sent, so there never seemed to be a "regular". Could not schedule a specific arrival time, so whether early/late arrival, we had issues with coordinating who would arrive and when. while it was always a kind and courteous Housekeeper, we never knew who was coming or when. Had issues with their sending someone afraid of dogs to a home with two. Had issues with a different person arriving (not familiar with our home) letting one dog out the front door. As much as I appreciated the help around the house, we had to cancel bi-weekly visits.

Some of the people who come to clean do a better job than the others. There is one specific person, who's name is Tee, who I request who is very thorough. I have had people come who did a mediocre job so my experiences are varied. I am very satisfied now and I will continue to use her.

They always come when they are scheduled to be here and they do a fine job. They are very responsive. I will continue to use them.

They do a good job for a reasonable price.

I got them from Angie’s list. I would recommend them. They do good work. They are trustworthy. I can leave the house when they are here. I would use them in the future.

I had been using them for nearly a year and only had the same person twice. They never provided a thorough clean and I have had the same cobwebs in my bathroom for several months. The floors were not mopped well. They really didn't straighten up things that were on the tables and just cleaned around them. I kept thinking it would get better, but it never has. I recently had some things that were stolen; over a hundred dollars and two rings. They have denied stealing the items, but no one else could have stolen them because they were the only ones there. I confronted her regarding the rings and explained that my husband had given me the diamond ring that was stolen and she agreed to return it, but did not show up the day we had scheduled for her to give it back.

Differnt quality of cleaning depending upon who showed up. Most notable was average to bad cleaning of kitchen and bathrooms. Never could get the same housecleaner week in/week out

The brochure they give when they come out to quote you lists ALL the services they are supposed to perform at your home. We have found that they usually hit about 3/4 of them, and not always consistently.

Met with owner, gave him a key, explained that I needed afternoon time because of my schedule. He indicated no problem. Got a call from the office the next Monday, and was told the housekeeper (hk) would be at my home 8:00 am on Wednesday 10-6. Explained the afternoon issue again and was informed that 10 am was the latest time that was possible. OK, not a huge deal, I'll go for it. (had been waiting to be able to do this for months!) Was told that I needed to wait for the hk, as she would not have time to get the key from the office Wed. am: Arranged my schedule to have a 30min break, (9:45-10:15) so I could let hk in, introduce myself, and ask a few questions. No one had showed up by 10:25, so I used my home phone to reschedule my appt., and call "Housekeepers", and found a message they had left at 8:30am. (did not bother to call my cell phone, so I did not get message!) Message said original hk could not be reached, so another would be leaving Madison at 10am, and should be at my house in 20 minutes, and this one had the key, so no need to wait. Too late! I had already ruined my morning, so decided to wait for this hk as it was now 10:30, and she should have been here any minute. Finally gave up at 10:55 and went on to next appt. Stopped in at about 1pm, someone was here working. I told her I was just checking to see if anyone had showed up, and she said she had come at 10:30. Oops! Not possible as I was here till 10:55! Left again, and returned at around 2:00pm, and she was already gone. That seemed really quick for one person to give my house a thorough first time cleaning, and indeed it was. It was terrible! Out of the 41 items that they list as things that they do, 23 of them were either not done at all, or a stab was made at pretending they were done. Office was already closed. Thur. am, I called the office and explained the situation; they said they would send out another hk Friday am, and she WOULD have a key, so I need not wait. I decided to wait anyway, as I wanted confirmation of the terrible job that was done Wed., did not want anyone to think I was just one of those "picky" people that could never be pleased. Had even invited to office mgr. to either come out and see, or send the owner, I thought they should know what was going on. I guess this has happened before because there was no hesitation in sending another hk to do another FIRST cleaning. (her words) Fri am. New hk showed up right on time, and was very nice and willing to please, but the FIRST thing she said was that "it was a good thing I was home, as there was no key in her package". Had I not waited, she could not have come in and cleaned, NOT a good sign, and I'm wondering where my key is. The second thing she asked me, was what was she supposed to do, all they had given her was a time and address, but no instructions! Great! I explained what had happened and showed her 5 or 6 of the 23 things that were not done. Asked her if this was their ususal cleaning standard, and she was amazed at the poor job. She even told me later that she had called the office herself, and informed them that I was just being "nice" when I called, and that the 1st hk had done a terrible job. Rushed off to my next appt. and returned about 3 hrs later. She said she was just finishing up, and would be gone in a few minutes. I had brought lunch home with me and told her I would stay out of her way and eat till she was done. She said she was done with the living room, so I stayed in there till she left. I could tell she had done a great job on the few things I had pointed out in the LR, foors were clean this time, furniture was dusted this time, etc. I did not go into the other rooms to check her work as I honestly believed, (and still do) that she wanted to do a good job, and was proud of her work. When she left, and I was done with lunch, I did go and around and check the house, and was crestfallen. Since she had not gotten any instruction, she had done a great job on the 5 or 6 things I had pointed out, but had done nothing else! It is now Friday afternoon, the office is closed, and I have no idea where my house key is, as it has not been with the person it was supposed to be with at any time in this entire fiasco! After all this mess, MY BATHROOM FLOORS HAVE NOT BEEN TOUCHED ONCE, along with several other things. I stressed to the owner, and the office personnel, that the floors were a BIG deal! I cannot do them. I called Monday am after worrying about my key all weekend. Told them I did not want another hk, just wanted my key back, and at least half of my money since I would now have to start all over and pay another company a "first time" cleaning fee. I was told that the owners were not available until the end of the week, so nothing could be done. I then mentioned that I would just go back to Angie's List and relate my experience. When I got home that afternoon, I had a message that I would get a full refund in the mail in 2 weeks. 2 weeks went by, I did finally receive a check, (closer to 3 weeks), but decided I should still warn other unsuspecting clients of all the problems that I had. In summary, after much inconvenience, worry, and stress, caused by poor communication, uncaring employees, and one hk that obviously did not want to be a housekeeper, even refunding my money does not make up for the time lost, and stress of this transaction. I Do not recommend "The Housekeepers" to anyone. I was so mad I actually took pictures of the floors, and a few other of the things that were never done, just in case of a reply comment about not being able to please some people.
