I called thursday afternoon, friday I had an estimate, monday I confirmed color choice, by tuesday afternoon I had a new garage door. Everyone I dealt with was easy going and knowledgeable. Very satisfied.

He diagnosed the problem, then I bought my own opener rather than their more expensive one. He came back and installed it.

Office personnel were discourteous and dishonest over the phone. Different prices were quoted at different times during one phone call, with no rationale as to why prices had changed. No breakout was provided of the cost of a service call vs. the cost of materials and labor. Since the garage door was broken and the holiday was approaching, we had no choice but to let the worker do the job despite the problems with office personnel. The worker did a good job but the experience was ruined by the company management and office personnel.

We called shortly after they opened, and two technicians arrived within an hour. Spring was quickly replaced, and the door and opener were inspected and routine maintenance performed at no additional cost. The two gentlemen were very courteous and professional. We will definitely use Overhead Door Co. of N. Alabama for any future garage door issues!

It went fine, though I kind of feel like it was a waste of money when the tech said that it probably failed sensitivity test because of how home inspectors test it (2x4 on ground and that the way the bottom of the door was rubber and flexed around it didn't trigger it to raise). Anyway, the tech did adjust the sensitivity and replace the light bulb in it for me (just bummed I had to make a service call). Had there been an actual problem with the door itself, it would have been covered under warranty, but since this was minor adjustment and not broken door, service call was charged.

The first technician tried a number of alternatives before it became obvious that the problem was the circuit board in the garage door opener and therefore the entire system needed to be replaced. i really appreciated that he tried a number of other things (tightened spring, lubricated parts) before reaching this conclusion. Made an appointment to have it replaced and a second tech came and replaced the system in less than an hour and made sure all the remotes were working before he left. Both techs were professional, friendly and prompt. Would not hesitate to call this company again!

Called and spoke with woman who said serviceman was out and never got a phone call back from anyone.

The door was available the next day and the installation was less than two hours. In addition to programming my auto to open the door, I was provided two units than can be used on a key chain.

Had to change the one broken spring into two new because the main garage is a 2-door garage and the builder put only one spring . Amazingly the spring lasted almost 10years.

The spring in our garage door opener had broken so we were unable to open the door and get our car out. Called Overhead Door and they were able to send someone out the next morning. They gave me an appointment window (8-noon) and called before they arrived around 10a. The guy who came was very nice and knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it quickly! I was very happy with the service.

The garage door spring split over the weekend. I needed to get replaced as soon as possible because my wife's van was in the garage and I couldn't lift the door. I have no idea on how to replace a spring and called Overhead Doors to fix the issue. They were quick, courteous, and professional. The repairs were actually cheaper than I had anticipated and the work was A+. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the future! Thanks for a job well done!

Perfect. In addition to fixing the problem, the technician noticed a hazard with the hanging rope//handle on the door while open and the rack on my vehicle. He corrected/shortened this for me. Very pleased with the whole process, from first contact with scheduling to technician. Will use again when necessary!

Our garage door came with the house and is 22 years old. On a Friday evening, the cable on the left side of the garage door snapped and the roller on the right bottom came off the track. I called Saturday morning and an individual with the company took my information. By Monday afternoon, the cable had been replaced, the tech tested the door and all seemed in working order. About 3 or 4 weeks later, the cable on the left side of the door came undone from the drum and the bottom roller on the right side came off the tract. I was leaving the house when this happened and called Overhead Door to explain what had happened. Within an hour of my call, a tech pulled into my driveway, fixed the issue with the cable, and had the roller back on the track. He then spent time raising and lowering the door to assess why nearly the same issue had occurred in such a short period of time. He was able to determine that the bottom roller on the right side was not moving properly and replaced that roller. The tech apologized that they had missed that issue when they had tested the door the first time. He said the issue should have been caught at the time of the initial problem and that there would be no charge for that service. I've never paid a lot of attention to garage doors, other than to keep them lubricated and to keep the tracks lubricated. I honestly thought that it was possible the garage door might be in need of being replaced when the second incident happened. At the least, I had expected a bill for that second service call. II was pleasantly surprised when I was told that there would be no bill. The company felt the tech should have found the problem during the testing of the garage door during the initial visit. So, rather than being given a bill, I was given an apology. That was totally unexpected. When things that are suppose to work perfectly all the time don't, you find out how important it is have a company you know you can contact that will respond quickly, and strives to give you the right fix to alleviate your problem. And, should they miss something, they never hesitate to return, reassess the problem, and apply the proper fix.

Technician who came to repair it was excellent, very knowledgable and very professional. I would definitely give this young man and A+. He got the job down and the door is working fine. There were a few issues with the office in scheduling but it all came together nicely.
