+ -1 moreWe checked the company with the BBB as well as references. What we did not know, and know now, is that they were not licensed to build in the state of Alabama. It was a nightmare about half way through as they started using our money to pay for other houses they were building. It got to be to the point and no company would let them hold credit. In addition to NOT being licensed, they walked away with a substantial amount of subcontractors fees unpaid. This resulted in a drawn out lawsuit and repairs to my home that have not been finished to this day. I would highly recommend not using this company, or these builders under any business name. I would be happy to provide documentation and pictures to anyone that is interested.
Description of Work: This company built our house under a different contracting name. SInce that time, they are now working under one of the children's names, as they cannot get their own license. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! If you feel that you can, ensure that you pay the subcontractors yourself and hold back a substantial amount of money back to the end.

For anyone interested, please note that they cannot get a license in their own name and must use someone else. This is NOT Russel Rodgers or Glenda Harris, despite the fact that they are listed as principals with the BBB.
