First talked to the outgoing owner (Herb) for planning, estimates, delivery schedule, etc. Then went to order the next week and the new owners did not know anything about the order, could not meet the delivery schedule. The excuse was that Huntsville Hardscapes had changed owners, Herb was not around, and did not do their own delivery, but contracted it out and we were not on the schedule. I already had labor lined up and the delayed delivery caused increased cost and a major inconvenience. Previous dealings with company and Herb was great, but not this time.

It didn't "go" at all..... that's actually my concern.

The service provided during purchase and delivery was very professional.

They did the job well. They did what they said they were going to do. They delivered materials for me.

A person from Huntsville Hardscapes Company showed up when he said he would. He was really nice. He was pleasant. He was just really backed up with a lot of projects at the time. His price was reasonable too. I would consider working with them in the future

I had used Huntsville Hardscapes previously to supply the materials for a DIY paver patio. I was impressed with their help and assistance on the job. I started a project to extend my driveway using concrete pavers. I went to the Huntsville Hardscapes Slaughter Rd. facility and examined the possible pavers i could utilize on my project and got a list of possible contractors to lay the pavers. After making a final decision I called and told Herb Hughes, the owner I thought, which pavers I wanted and he said they would be ordered. I negotiated with three contractors and selected a contractor to lay the blocks and received a schedule of activities. I called Herb again during the week of 28 Mar and requested the pavers be delivered on Monday April 4. They were not delivered and the contractor had completed all the prep work and was ready to lay the Pavers on April 6. I made a call to Huntsville Hardscapes on April 6 and was told Herb was not there and did not run the company anymore and the soonest the pavers could be delivered was Friday April 8. the contractor sent their truck and picked up the pavers and then unloaded them by hand. That was the only way the job could have completed given the inclement weather. I learned subsequently that Herb had sold the business, and the new management had sold their delivery trucks and was contracting out the delivery of materials. My delivery problems might have been the result of bad communication, but I am sure I will not be using Huntsville Hardscapes in the future.

I was doing prep work for a landscaping project and they were helpful. They gave me a list of contractors that they are familiar with and who I might want to call because they’ve received good reports.

Excellent service and advice. Helped from the first conceptual design, provided design considerations, developed realistic cost estimates, excellent advice. After design finished, assisted with selection of materials, recommendations of good subcontractors and material suppliers, and prompt and reasonably priced delivery of finished hardscape paver blocks and supplies. Provided assistance in construction methods and details throughout the entire job.
