Description of Work: David designed and built a beautiful back porch for our home. This required removal of the old, small porch roof, concrete and stone work, building a column and nice retaining wall of stacked stone to match the gorgeous stone porch flooring. We are completely pleased and would highly recommend Cobalt and would definitely use them in the future.

Description of Work: The firm graciously offered to refund their fee. Contracted for kitchen remodeling plans with addition for laundry/cat room. Received only a drawing for a 6x6 lean to addition. Representative failed to call me for a week after setting appt for home visit. Got phone number by calling Angie's list to set appointment. Arrived 50 minutes late. Representative failed to listen or had difficulty processing information, often went off on irrelevant tangents. Frustrated by him and embarrassed for him; relieved when he left. Plans for lean to addition ignored all of my desires, giving me an unusable box. No info on re routing water and electricity. Windows ignored my specs. This guy should stick to roofing because design isn't his thing. A waste of my time and money.

Description of Work: Multiple calls no response, personnel problems and still have incomplete requested services. Needed interior ceiling replaced, had 3 people look at it and no one came to complete. One individual did complete the roof issue - showed up at 7:30 AM for for a scheduled 9:00 appt. Office staff was inexperienced, rude, and had no concept of customer service - even after explaining the lack of response, personnel issues and problems.

Description of Work: He fixed the leak in my roof and also added a roof to my balcony. It went great.

Description of Work: They came out to check my roof and perform minor repair to gutters. First time they said I needed a new roof. I ask them to go ahead and repair gutters, but they wanted to wait. I got 2 other inspections on the roof and no one recommended a replacement. Made second appt. and worker came to the house without a ladder to just talk to me. He again tried to convince me I needed a new roof. I told him my insurance company disagreed. He suggested I change to the person he uses for his insurance and I could get a new roof. Third time I called the office and reported this and ask them to send someone else with a ladder to fix my gutters. Took about 15 minutes and job was done. I was very uncomfortable with the suggestion to change insurance companies to get a new roof.

Description of Work: he let me know that we could do the work, i needed a vent hood installed thru roof. he advised how it should be done, and felt we as DIYers could do the work without paying him. We did the work, and it all worked out, appreciate his advise, and his not taking our money.

Description of Work: After numerous calls to schedule the job, Cobalt decided that they have not been paid by Angie's, so let the customer take the fall.

Description of Work: He fulfilled the advertised inspection and gave me a detailed description of the chimney weakness as well as a quote for re-working the chimney. I did not follow through (yet) with the company because I had a follow up assumption which was never confirmed (about the $100 credit which was part of the Angie's List Deal.

Description of Work: Ok if you what really want is a major repair/replacement job. Which is not what I needed. The rep preformed an inspection and sealed some holes but when I inquired about the minor repair work I needed management couldn't justify sending a crew to do some minor repair that would have cost a couple hundred. Could only quote me for a full repair of all the flashing, around $2k.

Description of Work: "Integrity" claim is why I hired them. I saw no integrity & the owner raised his voice at me & insulted me over my request to re-do the rolled rubber roof full of long, rather large wrinkles. Id done my homework ahead of time & knew that was improper to have & requested it be done properly. He became smart alec & belligerent. Later he apologized & did fix it, but we didn't have to "go there" in the process. Likely you'd have satisfactory experience if all is done correctly & you have no issues you need to bring to their attention. Their work was average but I'd not use again for the reasons I just have given. UPDATE: Owner (David) absolutely DID raise his voice at me & said some things that were uncalled for. I can assure you that even just a slight increase in normal volume would never had caused me to claim someone yelled. As I said, work was "average" but I'd not use them for the unprofessional manner in which they interacted with me, including trying to get out of redoing a rolled rubber low-pitch roof full of very long, many wrinkles. Pitiful to see the denial below.

Description of Work: My roof was inspected and a couple of problem areas identified. We discussed a couple of ooptions to remedy the situation.

Description of Work: I was not able to afford this contractor but I would recommend him for his professionalism and honesty. I saw pictures of his finished project and believe he is worth the money if you can afford him.

Description of Work: The gentleman was very courteous. He pointed out several areas that needed repair and said he would fix them if he had the materials with him. He was driving what appeared to be his personal truck and had very few supplies with him. He did check the roof and I heard him hammering. He also fixed the screen on the back porch. I don't know if we would use him again.

Description of Work: I paid for gutter cleaning, but I did not get gutter cleaning at all. Tow man came without notice they climbed up the roof doing nothing and came down. I had been out side and watching what they were doing. They told me no clogging so they did not have to clean. I was speechless. At that time four siding people were working, they just disturbed them. I was furious. That company should not send them to people's house, NEVER.
