On the day of original service the weather was unseasonable cool and they arrived with new equipment. The application process was hindered by their lack of familiarity with the equipment. We have a double drive. The first side was done well, when they started on the other side they were taking out chunks of material with each pass. They said they would be back when the weather got warm and finish the side with another layer of asphalt. Called in March and was told they would be by...Had a gentleman stop by (handyman by trade) tell me he would re-seal the drive for $300.00. Called Hawkins with this info and they made an appointment to come by and discuss the work that needed to be finished. They decided that resurfacing, at no charge, would correct the problem. They arrived at the scheduled time and proceeded to HEAVILY spray the resurfacing tar. Took a week for us to be able to walk on it and it is August and we can't turn the wheels when the car is stationary, because the tar fills the tire treads.. The paving job is not smooth or graded so that the water will run off.
Description of Work: Repave driveway with asphalt.

Thank you Angie's List for notifying me of this review. I can certainly understand this members concerns. I can also say this is a case of mistaken identity. I and my company did not perform these services. My name is Greg Hawkins but I am not associated with the company that did this job. I suggest you check your contract, if you received one, or check the names of the company your hired for accuracy. If my name has been used I would also be interested in knowing and pursuing legal action. I truly am sorry for the bad experience and dissatisfaction this member had.
