They showed up on time, offered advice, and gave me a great price. I agreed to the price, they had the materials, and immediately began work. They diagnosed the problem, gave me options for solution, and did a quick but thorough job. It was a small job, but I really appreciated them being able to give an estimate, begin work, and finish the job within one hour. They came prepared and ready to get the job done.

Everything went great. on time, polite, professional.

Erik was on time for both the estimate and service. Had his crew and all material needed to complete the job. I came home after work and did a complete walk thru and everything was done as discussed.

Eric was very courteous and professional. He provided a quote and the date and time he could do the work. All went according to plan. The price was very competitive and he did quality work. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Have a two story house and cannot clean my second floor gutters since they are too high plus the first floor gutters I do clean but leaves were getting trapped in downspouts. I needed an estimate on cleaning and repairing (reattach downspouts) gutters plus an estimate on putting gutter guards. I contacted A1 gutters to get an estimate based on the rating in Angie's list.. They were prompt and courteous. They did not recommend gutter guards based on their experience with gutter guards and how they do not work most of the time. So I decided not to get the gutter guards. He provided the estimate and asked if I wanted it done that morning. The price seemed reasonable plus guaranteed their work if gutters backup after first rain which we have been getting alot of rain lately. I said OK and they had the job done within an hour. Rained and everything is looking OK.

Arrived on time as promised, set up his equipment, completed work and did an excellent clean up of the work area.

He showed up on time when the said that he would and work was completed within 3 hours.

They came promptly to give an estimate and could start right away. Of the three companies who provided estimates, A-1- seemed to have the best sense of what we really needed, i.e. not larger gutters but more drain spouts. We wanted to replace our rotting fascia with special fascia board that wouldn't rot and they found it for us quickly - very responsive to our needs. The work was done quickly and they even worked around our baby's nap times! Excellent overall, highly recommended.

These gentlemen did a great job. Erick Martin and his crew called back for the estimate to let us know the time and date that they would arrive. They then called on the way to the residence for the estimate appointment. They gave a very through and complete estimate of services and materials. They gave an estimated amount of time that the project would take, and they met all three parameters - cost , schedule, and performance. I will gladly recommend these guys to anyone that needs gutter work done. Professional, courteous, straight forward, and accurate on the time and materials as well as cost. Erick provided a business card and offered assistance at anytime in the future that we think an adjustment might be needed. Great guys, great work, great cost, and sticks to his word/promise. I was well pleased with Erik and his installers. They came out, evaluated the requirements and provided an estimate. I chose A-1 over two other evaluations. We set a date, he was on time and finished the job in a few hours. I would recommend Erik and his company.

Erik and his crew went straight to work upon arriving. They came out beforehand and did a full assessment of work to done and didn't waste time. He crew cleaned up after the job was completed and made sure I understood everything. Since it has been raining recently I had a chance to see if the work completed was satisfactory and of course no more links in my gutter. I am so happy to deal with contractors that are fair and honest when it comes to females. Most of the time they try to take advantage of you, but not Erik. Erik, thanks for doing an excellent job! Fantastic experience. Eric and his crew could not have done a better job. They replaced all of my gutters and downspouts as well as added a couple of new downspouts. The original gutters had been damaged in a storm but were also not installed properly. The new gutters look great and Eric ensured that they are sloped properly. He offered several helpful suggestions for maintaining them as well as for cleaning my vinyl trim and soffits so they will look better with the new gutters.

I called A-1 gutters since I was in need of new gutters. Erik arrived early at our agreed appointment time and gave me estimate. Erik listened to my concerns and made recommendations that would provide me the outcome that I desired. He recommeded gutter guards and explained to me what they were and why he recommended them. My original gutters did not have them but I do now and they make a huge difference in keeping the water from splashing over the sides. Erik was the only one who recommeded an extra downspout near my garage and explained why he recommended it to help ease the amount of water flowing through only one downspout. Erik went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the quality of his work. I hired them even though they were not the cheapest estimate I received but they were the most professional. Eric explained that if I noticed anything that did not seem to be working properly to give him a call and he would be out to fix it immediately. So far, the new gutters have performed flawlessly with all the recent rain we had.

They had different kinds of guards. As far as the gutters themselves, they are what they are but then they have different varieties of guards and different colors as well. They were on time, did a great job, did it very quickly and cleaned up well. They gave outstanding service.

I went to Angieslist and picked out the 3 gutter companies that I felt had the highest approval ratings, including A-1 Gutters, and called each one for an estimate. Two companies nobid because I was doing something out of the ordinary and were not interested even though as one rep told me times are tough right now in the gutter industry. I called A-1 Gutters and the owner Erik Martin agreed to come out to look at my project that same day. He too was a little perplexed at first on how to install gutters in a manner that is not common to the industry. However he believed he could do it and gave me a very reasonable estimate. As I still had to do some work before the gutters went up we agreed to do the gutters the following week. Once I was ready I contacted Erik and he was able to do the project 2 days later. He came over the day before to relook at the project and we made a few revisions to the plans which provided for a better installation. I also added a little more work and Erik updated his estimate which was still very reasonable. He showed up the next day ahead of the promised time and 3 hours later the gutter and downspouts were installed and Erik and his men did an outstanding job. I could not be happier. I had an excellent time working with Erik. He always kept his word on when he would be at my residence and usually arrived early. He always called before he arrived to let me know he was on the way. He gave me the Angie's List discount. When I found out what the material cost him and how much was left for salaries I offered to forgo the discount. Erik refused saying he honors his estimates. If I have any problems he will come out for no charge for labor and fix the problem. I could not of had a better experience and highly recommed A - 1 Gutters and Erik Martin for anything related to Gutters.

Very dissatisfied that he would agree to do proposal and then not follow back up with me if he wanted to be paid for the proposal & estimate.

Their service has been good so far. They even made a couple of extra trips to make sure everything was right, and installed an extra downspout when I told them it was over flowing the gutters. I'm a senior citizen, and he took the time to listen to my concerns, and did everything he agreed to do promptly.

We called and A-1 was very responsive in coming out to look at the job and giving us an estimate. They gave us a couple of options for a start date. On the selected start date, they were on time and did terrific work. Erik and crew were respectful and professional. When finished, they took the time to walk around the house and point out potential roofing and decking problems that might arise in the future. :( Excellent job. Definitely will use again!

I was very pleased with their work. They called and worked out a convenient time, showed up as promised, discussed the work and pricing, and completed the work professionally and quickly. I had them out on two separate occasions, for different type of gutter work. Besides doing the repairs I needed, they also told me about other issues (missing pins/screws, loose downspouts, splashguards not being attached, etc.) and worked out a reasonable price to fix those items. They also assisted me with running a new downspout and connecting up my french drains/extending other downspouts, to move the water away from the foundations. Would highly recommend.

They gave us an estimate which we accepted. They came when they said and installed a leaf proof, 6 inch gutter system just as se discussed

Overall experience was very satisfying. An initial contractor came over and wouldn't provide a gutter quote due to condition of farcia wood and metal. Stated that'd be expensive and to call him once it was repaired for a quote. Contacted Erik @ Got Gutters and explained what I needed. He came out the next day as scheduled and agreed that the farcia wood and metal would need to be repaired first. He'd had a licensed carpenter on standby based on my initial call to him. He contacted the carpenter (Terry) and had him come out to provide an estimate for that portion of the work. Both clearly explained what needed to be done and provided a written estimate/quote. Accepted their estimate and agreed to an install date. Received a call the next day from Eric asking if we could move the install date up earlier as the metal cutting machine was booked for another job. Great, no problem. I was allowed to purchase all of the farcia wood, metal and nails. Contractor(s) met me at the store, selected the material and I paid for it. No material mark ups. Gutter materials are included in gutter quote. They loaded the material on their trucks and hauled to my home. To sum it all up, Erik, Terry and all the other guys were all courteous, proffessional and answered any and all questions. Once they were done there was nothing at all to clean up. I'm totally satisfied with the job and have recommended them to 2 other people since they did the work at my home.

We are very pleased with the professionalism of this company. They came in the morning and everything was finished in 21/2 hours total. They cleaned up the entire area before leaving. The estimate they gave us and the total price was the same. We recommend them highly.

Got Gutters was a sub contractor to that installed my gutters and downspouts after the roofers replaced the shingles.
