A 1 Gutters

I recently bought this house and the previous owner had not had the gutters cleaned for awhile, so they were filled to the brim with leaves and pine needles and even some small tree branches. The gutters also had some screens that were clearly not functioning they way they should be, and I requested wanted to know if they were worth leaving on. I found A-1 on Angie's List and based on the glowing reviews, scheduled an appointment. Eric was great to talk to on the phone and gave me several options for possible dates, even offering to come on Sunday (I told him that wasn't necessary). He arrived when he said he would and inspected the gutters from the ground before he got on the roof, confirmed the price he had given me on the phone, and explained what they would do, Since the gutters were so full, it was more expensive ($150) and removing the screens was an additional $100. They worked very quickly, cleaned up everything they said they would, and I am very pleased with the job they did. I will be using A-1 again to keep the gutters clear from now on.

Erik showed up on time, gave a reasonable estimate. Him and his entire crew did an awesome job putting up the new gutters and were fast too. He went out of his way to make sure we didn't have to same problem we had in the past with our old gutters. We would highly recommend him to anyone!

The project went on schedule. Erik and his crew were on time and did a quality job. They were very responsive and when we had an issue came by within a few hours to correct it. I would highly recommend this business.

I hate to be short and sweet about it but Erik did great work. He was prompt to come and give an estimate. Came on the day he was scheduled. Finished within the amount of time that he said he would. Cleaned up after the work was done (biggie!!!). Ironically, it started pouring down rain within minutes of completion and he stuck around in the rain to see if everything was working properly! Have already recommended him to a family member and would fully recommend him to all.

A-1 Gutter replaced a section of gutter that kept clogging up with a larger gutter. They were on time, easy to work with, and did a very good job for a reasonable price. I was given a very good estimate for cleaning my gutters in the fall.

Work was done quickly and done pretty well. A problem with a crooked downspout was handled right away. Would recommend Erik and his crew!

AWESOME!!!! I can't say enough. I had previous estimates from other companies of $2000-$2500. I have a very limited budget and Erik was able to meet my budget. He replaced some fascia boards and installed the gutters. I had a problem area around the utility mast head and he was able to create a fix so that water diverts away from the house. He also discovered a rotted beam on the porch roof. He was able to refer a reliable roofing contractor, who was able to repair it at a very reasonable cost. Erik went ABOVE and BEYOND. I believe he was a blessing from God. He even told me to call him in a few weeks and let him know how the gutters are doing and to make sure the divert fix is working. Unless I move, I won't have a need to call him again for gutters, but I will call him for windows.

I called A-1 Gutters to see if I could get an estimate for the work I needed done. Erik came out the next day and accessed everything and gave me a price and really reasonable. Erik was able to give me an appointment that same wee to get the work done. He and his crew came out at the established time. They completed the work, cleaned up all the scraps. I even asked Erik if he could run by my daughters house and give me an estimate for some work at her house. He stopped by there and gave me an estimate for her house.and I told him to go ahead and do the work. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again.

A-1 Gutters also does windows. Erik had done gutter work for me in the past. I had asked him for a referral for windows and he told me that he did windows. I was not sure about using him because he's not listed on Angie's list as a windows installer but I asked for a bid and a sample of the windows he uses. The windows I ordered were double-hung, low E, argon filled vinyl. These guys did a great job. It took them only two days to install 34 windows. They double and triple-sealed them, caulked inside and outside the window and cleaned up everything. He was 1/2 the price of some other bids I received. Using Erik's company, A-1 Gutters, saved me approx. $8000 and I got good quality windows with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. If you need windows give Erik a call. He may be able to save you money and he's a very nice man.

Erik was great to work with. He came by and gave me a quote and was able to do the work in just a couple of days. He and his crew showed up early and we're already hard at work when I got there. They finished the job in just a couple of hours. Erik walked me around to inspect the gutters when they were done and pointed out what to look for and told me to let him know if there were any problems. Top notch service all around.

They were professional, on time, and performed the entire job in just under 3 hrs. The quality of the gutter guard was very good, (screw in type with lifetime warranty) and the price was 1/2 what another company wanted to charge me. I will definitely use Erik for other work on my house.

The bottom line up front is that Erik Martin and A-1 Gutters far exceeded my expectations and the new gutters look outstanding! Erik, owner of A-1 Gutters, arrived early for the estimate and of the 4 estimates I received his was the most detailed and informative. He took time to review everything, explained the process, and politely and professionally answered all of my questions. He recommended 3 additional downspouts and explained why. When it came time for the job, the work was done quickly, yet professionally. The new gutters look so good that the siding company workers stated that it was one of the best gutter jobs they had seen in a long time. The siding company project manager was also very impressed by the gutters and asked for Erik's contact information so he could hire him in the future as a subcontractor on their siding jobs. Our neighbors even hired Erik on the spot for gutter work. If I could rate A-1 Gutters an A-plus I would. I highly recommend Erik Martin and A-1 Gutters.

Erik was professional and courteous in all communications, he was happy to give an estimate and completed the job promptly upon approval. The cost was very reasonable and within the range I expected for the job.

It went great. He was in my area that day. He called me back with an estimate and gave me 2 options and why. I chose option number 2, came when he said he’ll be here, and got it done. He showed me the cheap ones that were used when the house was built and showed me what he replaced them with. He also guaranteed his work. He said that if anything goes wrong, I should call him and he’ll come fix it.

I had been trying for a couple of months to get someone to look at 2 problems areas with my gutters but no one wanted to bother with a small job. I really lucked up with A-1 Gutters. These guys came out within a couple hours. I was pleased with the estimate and they repaired my gutters while they were here. They even blowed all the leaves off the roof and from the gutters. I'm am very pleased with their work. I will most definitely call on them if & when needed again.

Eric gave the best price. Installed gutters the same week. Actually, did more than I asked to, by installing protective plates, due to the roof configuration and didn't charge extra for that. Very good man with a very good team. Highly recommended!!!

Erik came over for a free estimate. He walked the perimeter of the house with me, while one of his employees looked at everything from the roof. He recommended not getting gutter guards and pointed out areas that needed to be addressed. We recently had an inspection and the things that Erik observed was in line with that. Work was performed detailed and I was kept in the loop. I will hire Erik for any upcoming leaf removal or gutter work.

We needed new gutters and we called several gutter contractors for an estimate. The A-1 owner, Erik Martin, coordinated a time with me and he was very prompt. He took the time to explain exactly what he would do, what kind of material he would use, and what his warranty is. I asked for leaf guard to be included, and he was up front with the explanation that a leaf guard would help a lot, but would have to be cleaned because leaves would stick in it and especially the maple seeds in the spring would stick in it. None of the other contractors that gave us an estimate told us that. The others just came and measured and gave us a number and left. Erik took the time to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted and that that we understood what he would provide. His quote was very close to what the others had quoted, but he also added a nice discount (not sure if it was because I said we found him on Angie's List, or if it was a senior discount.) We had a roofer repair a leak around our chimney and replace some rotted fascia board behind one of our gutters that was leaking. The roofer also gave us an quote to replace the gutters, but it was nearly double everybody else's so we did not have them do the gutter work, but we did ask them to remove all the gutters so that he could find and repair any additional rotted fascia. We did not want the house to be without gutters when it rained, so we coordinated the roofer and gutter replacement to occur on consecutive days when no rain was forecast. The roofer scheduled the repair at the last minute and Erik flexed his schedule to accommodate. Then the roofer didn't come out until late in the day and did not get the gutters removed until late the next morning. I had to call Erik and tell him he couldn't do the work as planned. Again, Erik flexed his schedule to accommodate the delay caused by the roofer. In the end, the work got done, very professionally and looks good. Erik promised me that if I have any leaks or concerns, he will come out and make it right. So far, I have not had any issues to call him about. I definitely recommend A-1 Gutters to anybody who needs gutter repair or replacement.

A-1 arrived on the job when they said they would. My yard and around my home was left neat and clean with no evidence that anyone had been there. They called me when the work was almost done so that I could inspect it. They thoroughly explained what had been done and how to check to see that my new gutters were working correctly. They also explained how and when to contact them if I had any problems.

Excellent! Price was reasonable, they completed the job quickly, cleaned up, and came back at a moments notice to make some adjustments. Great Job.

I could not have been more pleased with A-1 Gutters or with Erik Martin!!! Erik was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about gutter and rain water issues. He came exactly when he said he would, assessed my situation and gave me a detailed written estimate which was extremely reasonable. He was able to start the work the very next day.
