CJ Contracting

My project began with a request from my insurance underwrites that my deck needed attention or risk non- renewal of my policy. Rather than repairing a few boards, I opted to tear out the existing deck and replace it with sod to create a space for my dogs. But once the deck was removed, I found a dilapidated rail tie retaining wall and no steps leading from the door down to the ground. I had certainly bitten off more than I could chew. Not knowing any contractors and without positive neighbor recommendations, I prayed to GOD to provide someone who would do good work at a fair price then consulted Angi. Cory Marlatt and his assistant, Austin Yates, with Cj Contracting were answer to that prayer. Cory immediately impressed me when he called to reschedule our initial consult because he needed to care for his child who became ill at daycare. After all, if someone doesn't prioritize the welfare of his child, how can he be entrusted to manager your project? Knowledgeable, professional and honest, they worked their tails off! Within a few days, my patio was transformed from an eye soar into a wonderful space that will be enjoyed for years to come. So, thank you LORD for answering my prayer. Thank you Angi for making it so easy to find the help needed to complete my project. And thank you Cj Contracting for creating such a beautiful space. I still can’t decide what I love most, the gates, retaining wall or landing and steps. I definately will be a repeat customer.
