Tri County Roofing & Siding of Alabama

I woke up early to a major rain storm outside and water pouring into my bedroom. I immediately started searching for a roofer close by. I contacted Tri County because their website said 24 hour emergency service available. I called the emergency number, received a voicemail and left a message. Within 5 minutes my call was returned. I explained the situation and was told a technician would call me back. The technician called back within 10-15 minutes. He started asking questions and then said it would be a little while before he could get to my house because he had to find a rainsuit. He didn't want to get sick. My thought was you don't have a rainsuit? Would most roofing emergencies involve having to deal with issues in rain? I let it go and said OK as I watched rain pouring into my bedroom. Shortly after that I received another phone call from the technician. He said the windshield wipers went out on his vehicle and he would not be able to make it to my house until it stopped raining or I could call someone else. I commented it was suppose to rain all day. He said it was suppose to stop raining around 1pm.(it rained off and on all day into the evening). He then started talking about how dangerous it was to drive in the storm. I said I understood that but wasn't there someone else that could come out or could he reccomend someone else (he never recommended anyone else). He said no the "boss man" was in the hospital getting ready to have surgery, he went into detail about that and said they were a small company and it was just the two of them. Interestingly the website does not indicate that. At this point water is pouring on the bed and the carpet is getting saturated. He then started telling me how he tried to fix the winshield wipers which I did not care anything about just like the history of the "boss man's" injury and hospitalization which was inappropriate in my mind also. I only cared about getting help. I told him I really did not care about how he tried to fix the wipers and he said fine, find someone else and hung up on me. I did find someone else that was excellent, prompt and professional.
