Description of Work: We needed our entire house painted on the interior. This included the front door, the front porch, three bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. Bill painted all the trim and put 2 coats of paint on the walls.

Description of Work: Painted outside of home. Cleaned gutters and drain pipes.

Description of Work: Bill assisted us with painting the exterior of our lake cabin. Fantastic and detailed work with no mess to clean up after. Bill was accurate on the exact description of what he was going to perform for the amount we agreed upon. He even went above and beyond and assisted with a couple of other items he found in need of repair during the job. I would call Bill again and refer all my friends to his company.

Description of Work: The contractor painted the inside of our home which included 3 bedrooms, 2 baths (one the master with large walk-in closet), dining area, great room, kitchen with breakfast room area, and laundry room. He also painted the trim and doors in my husband's "Man Gave". The job required the painting of all trim, crown molding, walls, and doors and required two coats of paint. The contractor works by himself and worked very hard every day without wasting time. He brought his lunch and took little time off the job. He was pleasant, and we enjoyed our conversations and contacts with him. On two occasions we provided keys to our home because we would not be there when he arrived. We trusted him completely and very pleased with the completed job.

Description of Work: Mr. Kienitz is a one-man operation and I must say is the best painter I have ever hired. He is extremely detailed orientated and very professional. He gave me a detailed estimate, which I thought was very fair, and stuck to it. My wife and I were very comfortable leaving him in the house to work alone if we needed to run an errand. He showed up on time or called in advance if he was going to be late. Mr. Kienitz is very good with his prep work which results in a very high-quality finished job. In some cases he had to remove wall paper and if there was damage to the sheet rock he repaired it completely. I never felt he was rushing the job to get to his next job. He worked around our schedule which meant completing part of the job and coming back two weeks later while we had a new bathroom counter top and sink installed to finish painting the bathroom. At the end of each day he cleaned the area where he had been working and at the end of the job it was hard to tell he had been there at all...except for the great painting job he had done. I found him here on Angies List and encourage you to use him. The job may take a little longer to complete because he works alone but it will be well worth it. For us he painted two bedrooms, a bathroom and several closets. We were extremely satisfied. I asked him to give me an estimate on painting the exterior of our home in the spring. I will have him back to do that job.

Description of Work: Mr Kienitz beautifully restored our 16-yr-old kitchen cabinets. He then painted the entire interior of our 3-bedroom home himself, including trim, doors, crown moulding, walls and ceilings. We trusted him so completely that we gave him a key to our home and left him to work each day alone. He was a complete gentleman, and his work is pure quality. We wish many blessings upon Mr Kienitz and his family and wish all workers were like Mr Kienitz.

Description of Work: Extensive wall repair and preparation prior to painting. Painting two story rooms with one color on the verticals and another on the horizontals.

Description of Work: After moving into our home, we hired Mr. Kienitz to paint the exterior of our brick/wood trim home and most of the interior. The exterior portion of the job included the trim, accent trim in places, the shutters and exterior doors, and garage doors. The interoir portion of the job included painting in enamel all the trims, doors, and windows, and painting walls in 6 rooms, and painting ceilings in 3 rooms. In addition to normal prep, he stripped several closets of old hardware, patched/prepped, and painted.

Description of Work: He took down wallpaper in a bathroom and did a fair amount of taping and mudding.
