+ -1 moreOur central air conditioner unit stopped cooling the house during the weekend, and we noticed the hose from the unit to the house was all iced over. I called the service first thing Monday morning and they were out to the house by around noon that same day. They checked the unit and confirmed a Freon leak, but could not identify an obvious source. They added Freon to the system and covered the hose with new insulation. It is now about two months later and we've so far had no more issues with the system. There were two technicians and they charged a total of $69 for labor and $90 for materials.

The service tech called me and was at my house in a couple of hours.These guys always do a great job and are honest about the repairs needed. They always try to find the most cost effective way to solve the problem. in our case, it it was only the unit low on freon so it wasnt a big deal to fix.
Description of Work: Our air conditioning didnt work upstairs on a saturday, Gist Service got a technician (Chris) out to my house in a couple of hours ! Our unit was just low on freon so they gassed it back up and we were cool again. They could have easily told us the unit was in need of major repairs but were completly honest. We have used them before and will always call Gist Services in the future !
