I have a yearly contract with them. They take good care of it and I don't have to worry about it. They are usually always on time and they clean up after themselves. They are dependable. I will continue to use them.

I've spent over $3,500 in the last 1 1/2 years. I had several different vendors come out and nobody seemed to be able to figure out what was wrong with it so I finally replaced it. Their prices were a little higher than others but typically they did a pretty good job. Another company finally figured out the problem but I bought a new one. They were always on time. I wouldn?t use them in the future but that is only because I have a warranty with a different company.

It was a good service. We were happy with their service.

We had very strong odor of dead animal from somewhere in our vents. I needed somebody quickly because we could not stand to run the heat, and we were cold! They said they could get someone to come inspect that afternoon but could not tell me when they might actually be able to get a crew to us. A gentleman came and spent about 15 minutes poking around and then came in and told me that in addition to duct cleaning (8 outlets and one return) for $870, we also needed UV light to kill mold and bacteria $795 for bottom of the line, duct sealing $1085 (he claimed all of our ducts were leaking and that we were heating the great outdoors), and a "dynamic air cleaner" $1095 plus (memory here) - 3 filters a year @ $33 ea. Total was $3845 but that he would give us a 15% discount and a free system check - all for "only" $3269 with the taxes. He said that they would guarantee the sealing of the ducts for as long as we owned the house and that we would never have to have them cleaned. The filter he proposed cleaned down to 1 micron which when I looked at the 3M filters I use now, they said the same. They cost less than $20 and last 3 months. Fortunately, I called around and found Filter Service Company who I cannot recommend highly enough (see my report on them). I was told that the UV bulbs do no good unless the fan is run constantly to keep the air passing over the bulb - better to have the system sanitized every couple of years - <$100 each time. He said the bulbs often burn out, and there is no way for the home owner to know. He also said that the duct sealing was a myth and waste of money. Air cleaner - stick with what I've got. The only thing better is a free standing HEPA system that is only necessary for extremely allergic people. His price for the duct cleaning $470. Today Filter Service Company came to do the work and immediately said that they smelled the odor at the unit and saw lots of feathers indicating that a bird had gotten in. They said they smelled it as soon as they got near the unit. The man from Norrell did not say a thing about that. Draw your own conclusions as to why he did not say anything about that because he did look at the unit. Filter Service cleaned and sanitized the unit, the smell is gone and it was less than $200.

It went very well. We called, had an appointment within a week. The estimator was professional. The crew arrived on time, on the scheduled day. They were pleasant and professional.

I had 3 firms bid for the work. All estimates were close. Norell won on quality of equipment and price after factoring in a discount offered in Jan/Feb. I've been burned before, so I am quite skeptical. Norell did what they said they would do for the price we agreed to. All work was done in a professional manner.

Norrell's technicians did a superb job. They finished the job in three days, ahead of schedule, and even stayed late the third day to charge the compressor to make sure we had A/C that evening (the temperature was in the 90s). They were careful not to soil the carpets in carrying the 40-year old equipment out of the attic. The time estimates were on target and all work was completed with no loose ends.

The diagnosis of the problem took awhile as there was a small leak in the freon line. It took multiple service calls to determine the issue finally resulting in a major repair. They were professional and courteous the entire time. The service tech worked very hard to determine the multiple problems and was very good at explaining the issue. The company has a service plan, but the tech did not provide a hard sale. He just explained the work, charges, and the plan. We decided later to use the plan. Overall, I was very happy with them. If I had used them earlier this problem would probably have been detected and the high cost avoided.

The Tech washed out my filters with a cleaning agent that etched the paint on my garage doors where the Tech had leaned the filters and sprayed them with the cleaner. Norrell informed me their cleaner does not damage paint when properly applied. During a heating system check up the Tech left BOTH heating systems set to run without stopping. When I got home 6 hours later the house was 92 degrees! Then, on the next service visit the Tech cut holes into the duct work to look for mold. Afterward, our upstairs air conditioner run non-stop but did not cool the house. After WEEKS of being hot and trying to juggle a service call around work, summer camp, and a vacation trip, Norrell returned and discovered their Tech was so busy trying to sell me a new system that he failed to retape the 6 inch holes he cut into the ductwork in our attic and the entire side panel of the large return. Our attic was being well cooled by our supposedly bad system, but I will never use Norrell again.

Since day 1, I have had problems with this unit, Norrell has been to my home several times. One technician even told me that the unit had not been installed properly and that he would put in a work order for them to reinstall. Needless to say, I never heard another word from Norrell about reinstalling my unit. Then during this winter the heat hardly ever worked and my family was left freezing most of the time. Norrell would come out and get it going again, but a few days later it would stop working again. Now that the weather is getting hotter, my air isn't working and my house feels like an oven! I called them today and tried to explain all of the problems I have been having with this unit and even brought up the fact that one of there own techs said the unit was installed wrong. They told me that they would not be sending a tech out and to "do what I had to do" and hung up on me. I know this will be a long hot summer for my children and I.

Very well. They came out again a few weeks back just to service the heater and were here about an hour and a half they told me my unit is old, but it works fine and no need to replace it. I was very pleased with this company both times

Norrell did a very fine job cleaning out the ducts in my home. I was very impressed at how much of a difference it all made as far as dusting. They were very careful not to have dust flying all over the home and they definitely took there time to make sure it was all done correctly. I am so pleased with everything. I honestly used these guys just to prove to my friends that it would not make a difference in the air, but, guess what, I was totally wrong. It really did make a difference. As far as pricing, I used another company for this service as well and I cannot remember who charged me what prices.

We have been very pleased with them. The last time out they did their spring check up, and it took almost an hour. They didn't have to add any Freon, and we didn't need any parts, or additional labor, so there weren't any surcharges. Our unit was fine so they did what we wanted done. Their service guy was friendly and helpful too.

The company has done a great job at keeping the air that I breathe fresh and clean. I am so amazed and the quality of work that the company does. I am very fortune to have this company work for me and especially for the price of the service. I have a five bedroom home, that needed some duct cleaning work done. I have a HEPA unit installed already in my home, so the air was excellent after they cleaned up the ducts.

Norrell Heating & Air Conditioning removed our old units as part of their service and hauled them away. The new units were installed with no problems. I haven't had any troubles with their work performance or the quality of the units that they installed. I liked the end results.

I called around and Norrell quoted me the lowest cost $69 a unit. We were impressed with the little things such as the technician putting coverings over his boots when he entered our home so as not to track dirt through the house. They work very quick and efficient in their job.

Norrell has been coming twice a year for the last four years. They installed the system, and we've been under warranty as far as any repairs. However they charge for these inspection visits. They're very thorough and prompt.

The technician said it could not be repaired and a new one would run about $2800. I thought the price was to high. I found another company who told me it would charge $1400. I felt like Norrell thought I was just an elderly widow who didn't know anything. I did get the furnace from Norrell at the lower price, they matched the other companies price. Aside from this they had always been very professional and done a great job. I will not use them again next time I need a new one.

Norrell is great because they work around my schedule which means they will come on a Saturday or evening at no extra cost. They are very clean when they work in your home. Also I got a very low estimate compared to some of the others. My heating and cooling units are kept in running order year round.

The service was excellent and they were very honest. They let you know if you need more work done. They are trustworthy show up on time and they call first. I ve used them for a while and I would recommend them.

I have had a service contract with them for some time now. I think their prices were a kind of expensive. They have kept my air conditioning running good. We have not had any problems with it at all. We renewed our contract with them and it still cost us about a hundred dollars for them to do the work.

We have used them for years. The company calls us every year to remind us what service needs done. They always come when they say. All of the guys are very nice. The last visit they made sure the thermostat was in working order and did the yearly maintenance on the furnace. We are always sure to get a fair price and not charged for what we don't need.
