After they left I discovered that they had not installed all of the leaf guards that I paid for. I can not get them to answer my calls or messages.
Description of Work: They installed gutters and leaf guards on the entire house.

Crew showed up 2 hours early (6am) and demanded that I move all cars so they could set-up thier equipemnt. Crew that showed up looked like they were homeless people just hired to do this job. As I went over the specifications from the estimate with the 'Crew Leader', he coped an ATTITUDE. He immediately informed me that he "was a professional and had done this work for over 10 years and he knew what to do!". I left and was gone about an hour and when I returned, the work was 'finished' and the 'crew' was gone. A week later, we had a heavy rain and it looked like Niagara Falls on the front and rear of the house! Beacuse the 'elbow' was not installed as requested, my basement floods every time it rains and, my yard now has deep trenches where rain flows OVER the gutters; rain that does flow through the downspouts has created deep trenches as well. The lack of the braces (and improper installation) resulted in a section of the gutter buckling due to the weight of snow this past winter. (Gutter that was replaced supported over 22 inches of snow 11 years ago but this 'better' gutter couldn't support the weight of 4 inches of snow!) I have contacted A1 Seamless Gutter & Metal Roofing several times about returning and correcting the mistakes. I've been told that there was a $200 MINIMUM charge for any other work and, they would come by and see the first chance they had. I've been waiting almost a YEAR and not seen anyone yet! Phone calls to owner are NOT returned! I WOULD NOT suggest A1 Seamless Gutter & Metal Roofing to ANYONE! The quality of the gutter and employees is LESS than you'd expect from those travelling scam artists! Avoid using this company at all costs!
Description of Work: Company was hired to install new seamlass gutters on front & rear of house and new addition (115 feet total length). Gutters were supposed to be 6 inches wide and have 4 new downspouts installed. Downspout on front of house was to have an 'elbow' to divert water AWAY from basement walls and 2 downspouts (on side and rear of house) were supposed to end near ground level so I could install those roll-up diverters on each. Gutter was supposed to be attached to house every 9 inches. In REALITY, gutter installed was 4 inches wide: distance between edge of roof and outer lip of gutter is 2 inches or LESS! Front downspout does NOT have an 'elbow' and ends 1/2 inch above cement pad under deck; downspouts on rea and side of house end 3 feet above the ground, Gutter has braces that are supposed to be attached to house every 16-18 inches and most have only 1 small screw installed instead of 2.
