Two Maids & A Mop

Excellent. They surpassed their excellent work the first time they were out. These two ladies were very professional and conscientious about their work and it was really a pleasure to have them help us in cleaning. We've tried a couple of other services before. This one has no equal.

I couldn't be home to orient them to my house but it was apparently not needed. They did an excellent job and I'm looking forward to repeating the experience every two weeks.

They damaged some stuff, and I haven't used them since. My overall experience with them was average. The one's who really do the cleaning correctly are the managers, and they don't really do the cleaning.

Whole home cleaning with a 6500 sq ft home. Sweep, mop, laundry sometimes. They are very thoroughThey make sure you are pleased. They will come back if you are unhappy. I would definitely recommend them. Price is a little higher than I like.

The cleaners arrivom time and start to work at once. They divide the chores and help eaxh other if one finishes her cleaning first. The one in charge with my cleaning comes each time. Her helper may be someone who has been here before or someone different. They always work well together.

I would say to other members they are good and to use them.

Workers never showed up when scheduled. Always called to say they would be late or to re-schedule.

This was my first time for the monthly service. I had previously had Two Maids and a Mop come out for a deep cleaning top to bottom. There were a couple of communication problems with my expectations but those have been totally resolved and explained to me so that I have a better understanding of what to expect with a monthly service. I am very happy with the cleaning job that the two women did and will definitely continue with my monthly service with them. They are fast and efficient and although they don't move things around in order to dust bookcases and dining room cabinets, they definitely get the most visible dust and the house looks great when they are finished. It allows me to spend my time doing the more in-depth dusting and cleaning out cabinets and things I just didn't have time for before. Thank you, Two Maids and a Mop for providing this service!

Had many problems with the original service. Considerable amount of oven cleaner was left in the oven, so much that I had to re-clean the oven. Some of the dishes that were left out for hand washing had spots and residue, other items were put in the dishwasher and ran even though the items were not dishwasher safe. Several cobwebs were left behind as well. It appeared that items were dusted around rather than being moved to dust under. Although this was supposed to be a "deep" cleaning it definitely did not feel that way. We made our concerns known to the company and they were very apologetic and immediatley offered to come clean the house again at no charge. The second time (a few months later) we had them come clean all we asked for was the kitchen and bathrooms to be cleaned and sanitized, house swept and mopped and dusted. Apparently they had 2 people come this time and unfortunately it wasn't a much better experience than the first time. They did an alright job but for 2 people being there for about 3 hours, the house should have sparkled. It really didn't look like much had been done and again items were just dusted around. The second time we didn't even bother bringing our concerns to the company. Seeing their rates and the work that we received we would not be hiring them again. We had a private house cleaner previously that charged 1/3 the price, took less time and did a much better job. When we would come home after her being there the house smelled clean and almost sparkeled. Wish we had her still but she moved.

I was very happy with Robin and Kristin. They were very friendly and professional and worked hard. My house was so much cleaner than it ever would get on my own. This was my first time using them and I will use them again and probably will recommend them to my friends. One of my concerns however is the price I was quoted for a deep cleaning. After reading all 35 reviews, there were only two that were $400 or above--one of which was a $535 empty house move in cleaning. And I saw several that indicated they were "deep cleaning" packages. And the ones that were that high indicated they spent a whole day cleaning. When I went in the house to see what they'd done, I was extremely pleased with the job as long as it was a $190 "general cleaning." I definitely would not describe the cleaning they did as "top to bottom deep cleaning." They did do pretty much everything on the check list that I was given for the deep cleaning, but there were many spots missed or not thoroughly done. In many places that were dusted, there were visible spots missed close to the edge of items on the surface like around the base of lamps, computers, TV, etc. Leather chairs were not wiped down at all. I could still see dust on the dark brown leather chair. There were still some cob-webs along the walls. Since they left almost exactly at 3 hours, I'm not 100% sure they were even told to spend as much time as it took to do a very thorough top to bottom deep cleaning. The cleaning job seemed like they had rushed a little to get it all done in 3 hours...all the items were done, just not thoroughly or "deeply" cleaned. So I would suggest you never ask for a deep cleaning job at the start....see what you get with the 3 hour general cleaning first.

The ladies do a great job. They are thorough, professional, and pleasant. It's a pleasure to come home from work and find a sparkling clean house. I highly recommend this business.

Our criteria focused on someone that would be considerate of our time constraints (every other week), possess high cleanliness standards that were consistent between services and for a fair price. Post our initial meeting we were offered a price that I thought was high, we negotiated a better price, set clear expectations and have been more than please based upon their initial and subsequent visits. The house is very clean and they always call if there are any issues or changes to their planned arrival time.

I have had my house cleaned 3 times so far. The first cleaning was not done to the specifications they listed in their literature, nor was it done to my specific instructions when I met with Brenda. There were pieces of furniture that were either not cleaned at all, or cleaned but done very poorly. My floors were not scrubbed, my bathrooms were not completely cleaned, mirrors and pictures were not dusted or cleaned. Overall, I was so disappointed with the job the 3 maids had done, I phoned the office immediately to share with Brenda my two-page written list of items that had been cleaned poorly or not done at all. Brenda apologized profusely and promptly scheduled a "re-cleaning" at no extra charge for the next day. There were 2 maids that came out that day and one of them was another assistant manager named Mary. After looking over my list and inspecting the house, she was in her own words, "very sorry for the poor quality of work the other maids had done, and in fact, she was embarrassed they represented the company in this way." Mary and her partner proceeded to re-clean every room and every piece of furniture in my home. When they left, my house was gleaming! This week, Mary and Theresa came back for my regularly scheduled cleaning, and once again, when they left my home it was absolutely spotless and smelled wonderful. I appreciate their prompt attention to my complaints, and the superb job they have done since that first cleaning.

There is always at least one girl who has been here before who knows how I like things done and communicates it to the other worker. They carefully move and replace my items when dusting and cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, thoroughly scrub the hard floors and vacuum elsewhere, leaving the whole apartment clean, neat, and smelling great. They are very responsive to any requests I may have for special areas that need attention (fingerprints near switches and knobs, checking for toys left under furniture by grandkids, etc.) and are pet and kid friendly. In fact, they are all very friendly as well as professional, and I would be glad to count any of the girls that have come as friends. If I can't be home, or need to leave, I am comfortable leaving a key for them to use for entry and exit.

This was my first time using them. They were okay.

They were very good. The only problem was that they didn’t finish on time. They said they would be here two hours or two and a half hours or so and at the end of that they hadn’t finished the work. So one of the women came to me and said that they hadn’t been able to finish. She said they could finish for thirty more dollars. I told them to stop where they were because we had agreed upon the amount of money and I told them that I was sorry that they didn’t finish. I didn’t like the fact that she came and asked me for more money so I just told them to go. She understood she had to go. She had a boss who was telling her what to do and she told her that I didn’t want to pay her any more. Then she said that it was alright and they would go ahead and finish. The quality of their work was very good. They were very professional.

They did a great job and I was very pleased with the service I received.

Like two cleaning tornadoes, these ladies whiz in, get right to work.... straightening, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, mopping.... you name a cleaning task and they do it. They get so much more accomplished than I would in that time. Of course, they don't stop to answer the phone, grab a snack, look at a photo album they are dusting, check email, decide what to reorganize or have for supper, etc., etc., etc. You get the point. They CLEAN! That gives me time to do all of that other stuff without feeling guilty.

Overall they were amazing!!! They had me at... vacuuming my sofa!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! With 3 animals that really means a lot! :) I looked around the house and it looked great. There were a couple of things missed but I know to ask them next time and there will be a next time! Highly recommend 2 Maids! :) Thanks!

Excellent. April's responsiveness on the phone and in person was excellent for the scheduling and estimate. This week was my first cleaning with them and I'm so excited to continue. They did an amazing job and I didn't run into any of the little annoyances like my previous housecleaning services (like leaving my toothbrush in a drawer). I love the feedback piece and that they take seriously the quality of their service. It's well worth the higher price of some others. You get the quality you pay for with Two Maids & a Mop.

Overall, I am very pleased with Two Maids and a Mop, but especially with the gals that actually do the cleaning. They are always on time and stay till the job is complete. They are very respectful and it's obvious they want to do a good job. Communicating your expectations and understanding what is NOT within their job description is essential. Most things can be worked out with talking with your cleaning crew.

two cleaners showed up...they did not bring all the supplies they needed; one cleaner kept complaining and wanted to leave. They failed to clean/dust many places of the house....since it is only my wife and me in the house, it does not get that dirty or unkept....I really could not see any difference after the cleaners had left...I will not rehire...I went back to my previous cleaning service. The rating I gave above was very generous.

They dust everything, vacuum the air return, and take care of all the little things I never remember to do! They also clean everything in the bathrooms and have loaded the dishwasher when I hadn't gotten around to it. This was a reschedule of my normal service when I was recovering from illness and just couldn't take the time from work, and the rescheduling was handled wonderfully, and they really work with my schedule.

They're efficient and thorough. I only have them once a month. The price is worth every penny of it.
