+ -1 moreGathered quotes in September 2009. Paid a small deposit and ordered the rails on 10/1. They were delivered on 10/21. Installed on 10/23. Nice folks. Enjoyed dealing with both the father and son. Good, local, family-owned business.
Description of Work: Our house had a large set of brick steps (10 steps) that were in bad shape. We corrected the problems and re-did the steps in stone. The existing rails were also in bad shape, and they wouldn't fit they new step configuration anyway. We got estimates from several companies to fabricate new stair rails for us. Troglen was recommended to us by a family member. Their price was very competitive. They even helped us with some ideas to add some features that would "dress-up" the appearance of the rails. These small additions made a huge difference in how the rails looked, and they only added a small amount to the price (especially when compared to what some of the other companies quoted us for the same features). We choose Troglen to do the job, and they did excellent work.
