Description of Work: The proposed work was a landscape design that was too fussy for my taste. The designer was very professional and the owner was very cooperative. It just turned out that what they were offering was not what I wanted.

Description of Work: I had to call Angie's list to get him to make initial call to schedule, over a month was wasted, provided design drawing for $200 ($49 elsewhere). Estimate way to high for perennials, was suppose provide estimates for perennials and separate estimate for annuals, promised to return with annual estimate, never did, finally put in some flowers myself. Suppose to have been a $200 credit for doing the work, never got back in touch. Supposedly "very busy", must have not needed my money.

Description of Work: Landscaped our new house. Added some beds. This was done in December, so he had to fight the weather which delayed things several times. Really knows his business. Price was competitive. Was quite flexible and worked with us to achieve satisfaction. Recommended.

Description of Work: I was looking for a company to level and resod the backyard. When I talked to the Happy Landscaper representative they told me they really didn't do that kind of work and had several jobs in progress and wouldn't really be able to undertake the job even if the job was in their desired business base. I appreciate the fact that they didn't waste my time (or theirs) and responded within a day with a high degree of professionalism. If I ever have opportunity to use them for work, I will.

Description of Work: He came out gave me an estimate and told me I needed to wait a couple months due to the grass season. Months passed he didn't call or never showed up. He sounded like he really didn't want to do the job; I think it was too much work for him so I wasn't surprised when I didn't hear from him again. I didn't get a warm and fuzzy for him at all and I was right. If you can't do the job just say it.

He was at my home the next afternoon with his staff to start the project. Not only were they professional they worked very quickly. I especially appreciated the suggestions that Jeremy made. He truly knows what he's doing. He recommended exactly what would do well in the beds and around the trees. I would highly recommend The Happy Landscaper.
Description of Work: Removed old border. Installed new stone border around trees and beds. Removed old shrubs and replaced with new shrubs and plants.

When I called a second time to schedule a date for him to come give an estimate, he said he would call later in the week to set the exact time on the following Friday or Saturday. That was a week ago, and so far he has not called. Am really disappointed since everyone else rated him so high. There has been no follow up from him, and I really don't understand why this occured.
Description of Work: No services were provided. He gave a range of prices, agreed to come the following Friday or Saturday for an exact estimate, but didn't come and hasn't called.

He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions I had, as well as recommend a lot of excellent ideas. Work was completed on time and within the budget/estimate. Will definitely use again and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Couldn't be happier with my experience and my flower beds look amazing.
Description of Work: Complete flower/mulch bed overhaul. This included new top soil as well as the installation of lava rock and new flowers/shrubs.

+ 4 moreJeremy, THE Happy Landscaper, did a great job! I called and made appointment to meet him to look at my yard, he was prompt and professional. He on the spot provided a Not To Exceed estimate, which he followed up a couple of days later with a detailed estimate that I accepted. He then called and scheduled a start date, for which he arrived on day and time specified. He provided rock edging around my flower beds, help spring clean my beds for planting, planted some new plants - some that he had suggested for my situation and some that I provided, then trimmed and pruned existing plants, mulched and cleaned up. He worked professionally, quickly and did as he had quoted. I am VERY happy with his result, and so far everything looks great!! He has even guaranteed his plantings for 6 months.
Description of Work: Rock edging around flower beds, including concrete backfill to lock rocks in place. Fertilized and planted numerous shrubs and perennial plants, while removing old or dying plants. Cleaned out flower beds, including spraying for emergent weeds and grasses. Pruned existing shrubs and bushes. Mulched all beds.

+ 2 moreI called Jeremy after many failed attempts of getting estimates for the work that needed to be done in our backyard. Jeremy responded and met with us right away. After agreeing on the price ( which was very reasonable) and the design , we retained his services. We have been so impressed with the work he has performed! Our back yard looks beautiful! His crew and sub contractors he retained also provided high quality work. Jeremy always explained everything and made sure we agreed with the process every step of the way. He stayed in constant communication with us. We can't wait to retain his services next year for the rest of our yard. I would highly recommend him...and as a matter of fact already have to my friends. If you are looking for a landscaper - he is your guy!!! Call him today - you won't regret it :)
