Signature Landscapes

They were good and courteous. They got the work done, checked the system, and got out of there.

I would never use them again. They had a special deal that just came out a couple of days ago and I thought, "Oh. You poor people that had bought it." She uses this process of you take a picture of the front garden and then you put it into a program and that is supposed to give you a picture of what the garden will look like after the work is done. However, it does not take into account differences in elevation in a landscape. This wall that I thought would be angled down actually ended up having to be stepped down. I did not expect that. I did not get the pot surface that I wanted. The soil they put in there that I thought was topsoil acts more like it is fill dirt. Sharon Hines is very difficult to get a hold of. She won't come to the jobsite. She's very hard to communicate with. And then, when we had it done, they used non-English speaking workers, stone layers and the workers that installed plants. The stone layer was very good, but, again, I didn't quite get the product I wanted and you couldn't communicate with the non-English speakers at all. And then, of course, you couldn't communicate with the owner of the business. The one worker, I think it's her son that comes in. He uses the small tractor, the Hobe Cat or whatever it is. He comes in sometimes and helps with the landscaping also. One morning, he came in smelling heavily of alcohol and everything and I just wasn't impressed with that. And then the plants that went in were poor quality. I suppose we were getting to the end of the season and yet, she brought some half dead stuff and my husband said, "Just take it back. We don't want that." And then, they brought in some trees, like a crepe myrtle and stuck it in the shade and left it for three or four days and they planted it and it was dead, so they had to replace it. There were cost overruns, everything. I would tell people - don't walk, but run away, because it's not a good company to deal with. They were days that my husband took off work to come wait for them and they didn't show. She would be, "I can't do this. I can't do that because I have a migraine."
