Description of Work: We had them widen our driveway by removing dirt from two areas and pouring/leveling/etc. cement. The driveway has been widened and the cement work looks good. Mr. Sharp is very personable and from what I saw the workers were never just standing around. However, there were some collateral damage problems. 1) I told them about the sprinkler system when I described the work but they didn't watch for the sprinkler heads while digging with the Bobcat and now somewhere under the new concrete is at least one sprinkler pipe which isn't capped off. 2) The soil they dug out had to be piled up in my yard since the truck driver wasn't available for hauling it away. Not a problem except that when the pile was removed four days later a big section of my yard was scraped bare. 3) When the concrete was poured there was no consideration made for drainage where the new concrete meets the old and that is making for a pretty good size puddle that has nowhere to go whenever we get a little rain. Overall this project turned out better than it would have if I got some buddys together to help me out, but the collateral problems aren't anything I expected.

Description of Work: Built a large addition, remodeled a bathroom and kitchen. I also used them previously to remodel two other bathrooms. Pros: All in all the work done was great and we are very pleased with it. Mr. Sharp is incredibly nice and has integrity. He generally hires people who are good at what they do and are good people--I never, ever felt uncomfortable being alone with them in my home or having them work here while I wasn't here. Cons: The way Mr. Sharp estimates and tracks costs is confusing and not very detailed at all. His time estimates are way off also. Our project was estimated to take 8 weeks and it took 6 months. Our previous bathroom project was estimated to be 3 weeks and it took two months. There were many, many days when no one was here to work. About 95% of the time the workers would arrive around 8 am and leave around 3 pm, with a 45 min. or so lunch break, never working a full day.

Description of Work: Complete exteirior remodel including: removal of wood deck, construction of new 20x20 covered patio, newly poured lower patio connection back patio and driveway, removal of old driveway and installed enlarged drive, new sidewalks around front, leveled uneven areas of yard where large trees had been removed, prepped yard for new sod.
